Good to see Bjerg finally winning an elite TT and beating a solid Vingegård which I didn't expect before today.

Very impressive rides from Wright and O'Connor as well given that they don't exactly have the best TT set-up.

I really need to see a picture of Bjerg's wife.

He said this after the TT:

On the first climb I dosed and in the last kilometers I was pushed from the team car and always thought of my wife. That way I was able to deliver an extra in the finale.

Lucky for him those last kilometers were uphill and not downhill.
He‘s married to Emma Norsgaard, you should be able to find pictures of her.

Mikkel Bjerg's wife is Emma Norsgaard. Not a complete unknown in the cycling world...

Mikkel Bjerg is sort of in the same category as Michael Mørkøv: a rider who is among the very best at what he is good at, but who also has a carreer with relatively few wins because he spends his energy on supporting others. The races have to be without the absolute top specialists if these two Danes are to make a podium.
