Landa was pulling back time on Vlasov ...a little bit at a time and remember he was pacing Remco . He even went back for remco at one point

Why are people so threatened by saying landa could have been with the best

His job is clear for the Tour but maybe in the final week if Remco is out of GC contention Landa can go for stages

You are right, just wish he was protected from the start and didnt have to spend the first two weeks losing unnecessary time. Could have a chance at a top 5 and maybe be an outsider for 3rd, given the questions surrounding many of the others.

Landa been strong through many races in a row now and deserves a shot. He has been the closest one to be able to follow Pog this season!!! So sad to not see him be freed.

Congratulions to Roglic for the victory.

Now, the more i see about Roglic and Remco evenepoel in the mountains, very clearly and is so obvious that in the Tour, the fight will be by the same 2 guys.

It will not be a fight between the four. It's just propaganda to hype the race.

Pogacar and Vingegaard are clearly 2/3 levels above Roglic and Remco evenepoel in the mountains. This guys are again climbing in the level of guys like Vlasov, Ciccone, Carlos Rodriguez, Jorgenson.

When we see Vingegaard and Pogacar, they always annihilate this competition with a good gap.
1. Don't count Roglic out.
2. The propaganda here is you saying Vingegaard is on par with Pogacar 2/3 levels above the rest when the former suffered a punctured lung and will be coming ill-prepared.

His form is good, his weight is not. I see plenty of pros who don't turn into Chubby Checkers after they crashed and need to stay off the bike a few weeks. It's always the same with him. And there is no way he can lose the weight needed in time to be competitive in the TDF. I had hoped he/they learned their lesson in the Vuelta, but apparently not.
I 100% agree but if you look at day to day ,Remco training hard, meeting targets, all systems go ,falls off bike, and his entire anatomy and nutrition, demands on body change overnight, not 100% but definitely having the accident, treatment and recovery had him make dramatic changes, that apparently were not enough to overcome caloric excesses of pro diet and workout schedule. And he looks like he is on a crash course for weight loss weaknesses that many complain about right before TDF, so I agree, he is unlikely to be ready.

You don't know how he will be in the Tour, i am based on the previous perfomances until today by them.

I didn't count Roglic out. It just takes one crash or illness by Pogacar and Vingegaard, and Roglic is the favourite, but the chances of something happening to Roglic are higher.

"I can ride a hard pace, but I can't go over the limit yet. That's what I've been trying to tell all week, that I'm not up there yet to fight for a GC win, but seems people are still surprised. We're on the right track tho, that's what's important right now", I just heard Remco say on the radio news.
He also said the goal was the podium in the Tour.

He is still young and he has a lot of years of career. He is on track for the podium and winning some stages.

Yeah, I did think that this performance today fit exactly into what he said before the race where people gave me a hard time for saying that he doesn't usually lie directly into our faces.

Roglic favourite for Le Tour easy, still room to improve too, cycling is absolutely back .

With similar numbers we must not forget Ciccone at 3s and Gee at 13s. TdF podium already closed. Pogacar and Jonas doomed 🤡🤪

Remco evenepoel did 6.5 w/kg on Tour Norway during half an hour, he will win the tour easily.

(Tim cahil was just joking i think).
That was thin pre-cake Remco though, plus he didn't have a slow-flat in Norway and his directors didn't tell him the wrong finish line there.

It was a good performance from Roglic today though, I just wanted his fans to stop being such bloody doomers.
