Flanders was stunning on EuroSport high definition today, particularly the head-on shots from what appeared to be a vehicle equipped with something like a SteadyCam. No camera shake and you could see every detail, just like pictures from the traditional static cameras at key locations. Last year's Tour was similarly very, very impressive in HD that I saw on the Spanish RTVE terrestrial. I've often wondered why the motorbike cameramen aren't equipped with mini SteadyCams, but maybe they would be just too cumbersome.
