The thing is Dave if you did believe in transparency then saying what it was in the packet would be just that - transparent. Having this childish game of "cant tell you" under the guise that its under investigation makes your position all the more ludicrous.

I particularly liked this bit not least because it is truly astonishing the lengths to which he will insult everyone's intelligence.

Right Dave so let me get this straight. A package containing medical products is hand delivered to your team, to one of your Doctors, who is the personal physician of your star rider at the time, preparing for the TDF, and you know nothing about it??

Kind of at odds with what you told Sky News about running a "tight ship".

We all remember he was in a police cell when David Millar was arrested and they have remained 'friendly' so that put to bed that lie, never mind the small sport of cycling is doping riddled!

Only Bernie actually pressed him on the package and he just talks b0ll0cks. He is a stone faced liar.

He says he shouldnt have said it was Pooley or the bus had gone basically because you have been shown you're a liar and not the all singing of master of no stone unturned gimp you think you are. You're nothing but a liar.

After listening to that Podcast, all I can say is what a waste of time. That is 90 minutes out of my life that I will never get back, I was bored into submission by Brailsford waffling for minutes on end without answering the questions. Probably just as he intended. It was a very soft interview and he was allowed to take control when he really should have been prevented from going off on tangents and not actually answering the questions asked. When he retires from cycling he has a ready made career in politics with years of empty promises, bare faced lies and an inability to give a straight answer to simple questions.

He doesn't use the word 'facilitate', why put it there.

I tend to agree, but the more interesting question is "should he have spoken"?
Should he have spoken with Wiggo and Freedman about the medication?

Or did he conveniently overlook it, the same way Wiggo overlooked, and at best, misled,it when being interviewed for his autobiography?

Both of them have been around procycling long enough to know exactly what they were doing; the fact that both of them hid what was going on makes them morally guilty in my book.

The package issue is now off the table since its been investigated by UKAD. Once they're done I would think Customs and Excise would like a chat with Mr Cope.
