Here's Dave's formula for wriggling out of difficult questions without committing to anything. Pick any 4-digit number, but it's almost creepy how well any number ending in '9' works!

Brilliant.
Indeed! Works all the time.
Dave's "one hundred percent" would fit in nicely too.

    Nicholas Portal is now on the DB BS Generator........

If we have more questions then we need to maybe think about the rules. We try to do everything right, and we’re not the only team to do so.

Didn't DB sit down with every SKY rider (/employee even ?) and ask them about prior doping in the aftermath of the Reasoned Decision.

That famous "look em in the eyes" questioning session.

Good point
More generally how are you going to implant a clean cycling ethos into your riders if you don't talk with them about doping ever.
That statement was just bollox on so many levels.

if Wiggins had half a brain he would throw Sir Dave (and backroom staff) under a bus. The story would be:

I came from clean team (Garmin - I know :) ) as a newly focused GT rider. I listened to and believed Sir Dave and all the clean ethos. I had never used this stuff before...look check the TUE history. Then when the team doctors told me I needed it...well...what could I say...they are the experts and they are dedicated to being clean. If I'm honest...I feel a bit let down by them. You need to have trust. And if you can't trust your doctors....I kind of know how Yate's feels now after his doctor mucked up his medication this year. I hope they can get this resolved. I would love to say more but need them to sort this out.

Wiggo had TUEs also with Garmin in 2009

and yes, agree with the previous post. "if his half his brain was lost"

I'm sure he's tempted, but him and Brailsford are joined....if one goes down, so does the other.
Both are going to wait for the outcome of the UKAD investigation before saying anything else.
Funny thing is, both must know what's in THAT package, so they are either stringing us along waiting to jump free in one bound OR they are praying for a miracle.

I don't understand the issue with the Jiffy Bag.

A guy so well-versed in lying as Dave, why couldn't he produce one extra little lie and just say the jiffy bag was filled with god knows what, peanut butter for all I care.

Brailsford's refusal to provide any kind of answer (not even a simple small lie), only makes sense to me by assuming he's afraid that somebody might reveal the real contents if he lies about it.

Tomorrow will be interesting. But needless to say, he's either gonna stay schtumm about the Jiffy Bag, or lie about it.

I hope this man uses tomorrow to answer one simple question. What was in the Jiffy bag?

Will MPs produce the Henderson pushing Froome picture? Will they then show the Ventoux power files video and ask "Dave, how is this possible?"

MP: You haven't answered the question.
DB: I think I have answered the question. As I said before, <proceeds to restate previous non-answer>.

Rinse. Repeat.

George Gilbert coming across as an arrogant prat.

Nicholson nailed it at the end, forcing BC to write to the chair of the committee with the contents of the package.

It's ridiculous. No one expects them to know off the top of their head what was in that package but they should have been able to find out in about 3 hours tops.

Shane now... This could be fun...
