So a BMC team soigneur arrested on June 27, 2011 shows that Evans is above suspicion? Nope what it shows is that nothing in the sport has changed.

CleanER, where and when did the sport clean up its act?

As the soigneur was under investigation b4 Evans joined, means that it is unlikely that Evans has any connection to this Soigneurs activities though.

Can you tell me what a 'mideval kind of justice' is?

Adding extra personal punishments outside of the justice system. But that's perhaps to insulting for the middle ages

Bof
look up ROBERT POGGIO on google or google image.

Among his trip riding backwards : over 1000 km from Geneva to Brest to celebrate the year 2000.

But he has done longer trips in that position.

When he did Télégraphe + Galibier backwards seating on his handlebar he dropped most of the guys who started with him.

I have done a number of cyclosportives (gran fondo) with him, in fact he is not that much faster going forward than backward.

I have seen him once on the Swiss TV, in a studio, riding his bike (forward position) with his left foot on the RHS pedal and conversely. Boggles the mind.

He must be retired now, before he didn't work in a circus but in a bank :)

As a native English speaker I understood what Franklin meant immediately. It's not that difficult. I must have average intelligence.

If you are going to insult someone, then have the common decency to spell the words correctly or even use the right words. For people who profess to have so much inside knowledge about doping, and about the science of blood doping (etc) the level of literacy around here is appalling. Having said that there is nothing wrong in calling for a boycott! One poster said that welders working for Kyklos would be put out of work! How many welders does it take to make a carbon frame? For all you anti-dopers, my proposal would make the stand against Di Luca's continuing doping visible and send a strong message to those few riders who still think its ok to dope. The Taiwan factory that makes Kyklos would just move on to another brand. No job losses there!

Why not wait for the B-sample to be tested?

It is deeply encouraging to see that kind of heartfelt and open abhorrence for cheating (it would have been unimaginable a decade ago), but there is also a sense that Di Luca, like Riccò, is an unpopular figure in the peloton and, as such, an easy scapegoat. The fierce criticism one rider unleashed upon Di Luca, for instance, did not tally with an incident at a training camp last season, when the same rider attempted to stop a reporter from asking a teammate questions about his implication in a doping inquiry.

any guesses?
