Agree. Easy to throw stones at someone who is russian and riding for Katusha, but I don't think British and riding for OGE is much less suspicious.

Yep. OGE are just another standard WT team doing what Katusha and the rest do. SSDD in pro cycling.

I think Yates got away from them because Purito/Henao/Quintana were marking each other.

With good reason, but his big transformation was last year, not this year. Last year he was climbing well with RusVelo. 2nd in the Tour de Slovénie is not the work of a mug. This was the time of year he was killing it last year too. He's just doing it to match up to the world's best puncheurs and mid-length climbers in one of the most prestigious short stage races in the world instead of beating up ISD Continental and Helicopters team in Russian domestic races

Yes it is -telling... On the brinck of failure/destruction it must be nearly
impossible to deny usage of a game changer..

I can't imagine he's on the good stuff used nowadays by top GC guys but rather uses the same pharmacist who provided the Iglinsky brothers with the magic potion required to finish somewhere around 125th place and getting busted. Zakarin has to go out with a bang and win the TT tomorrow.

Yeah. He has showed he can do this in a TT like this (Chorges '13), but to be in what seems as absolute top form after having to skip the previous race because of illness is weird.

Do you trust Belgian teams?

So Purito was ill 2 weeks ago, today he does the TT of his life.

I wonder how many TUE's did he had today Wouldn't be the first flying ill...

I'm gonna put my fingers in my ears and say lalala, Purito is clean, lalala. That helps. Well Ullrich did win the Vuelta. It's probably just that no one could out dope Lance.
