Don't worry, TTF, the moderators will be along soon to take down the nasty troll posts you disagree with. Don't you be getting all upset about what you've seen - they will get rid of it for you. Tiddums.

I only wish you were that close tonight...of course, I don't live in the UK...then again, neither do you.

Anyway, I am not upset in the slightest. Happy as a clam actually. Funny though, I have read all of your posts under this incarnation, and not a single one is on topic...

I'm flattered you want to get close to me. Something tells me the type of person who goes around being rude and nasty on message forums is a dweeb in real life.

I've never understood why I am not supposed to live in the UK.

Doubt it. You and RR and nervous wrecks. You've shown yourselves to have very thin skins indeed. One post stays off message and you start complaining about being "baited" and report them to the moderator. Definitely not very confident people.

Gawd...BPC's overdone the PCP.
Too much to ask for the odd cycling related post, I suppose?

I'm not allowed to do that. I tried to talk about cycling earlier on and TTF and RR went crying to the moderators again, who promptly removed all of my posts.

It is quite a good strategy because once you can't talk about cycling and are forced to stand up to the bullies, you then by definition are going off topic and are doing the very thing they lied about you doing in the first place.

He just lies for the hell of it. He read my posts on the Basso situation.

It's ironic because you couldn't have a better example of a troll. It's also funny because as soon as someone stands up to him he runs off crying demanding he have his ball back. A very weak individual.

You're slipping out of character.

What I meant to say is Basso is an unrepentant enhancer. By his performances this year he appeared to be clean. I doubt that he has the common sense nor the integrity to stay clean. His Vuelta performance has nothing to do with his Giro performance. My feeling is that he enhanced for all the 06 season until his ban.
I watched him climbing the Trinity grade by the side of the road in 06 Tour of California. He climbed without effort while Betini and Hincapie appeard to struggle. I suspect that at that moment he was" glowing" as he had nothing to lose as he was under suspicion at the time. The Uniballer was following him in the disco car wearing a terminator mask. Quite the picture. Basso is all clean now though. How can he be so contrite?

There';s NO WAY he was clean for that....!!! You nuts!? If he was clean he'd have been way behind. They all blood dope big time with packed red cells deep frozen, dipped in nitrogen or whole blood drawn off a few weeks before and popped in the fridge...

AT THE MINIMUM red cell jacking gives somebody 12% more power! That alone makes your V02 max shoot 8-10 bloody points! All the top guys have an 81 V02 max or better and jacked with IGF-1 and some slin, blood refills, etc they have close to a 96 V02 max! No talented clean rider would even be seen after the first couple of climbs! wouldnt take long, maybe 10-15 minutes into the first real good mountain grade.

Evans

Do you believe even Evans is in this blood doping scam?

Why does everyone think Evans is any different from anyone else in doping accusations. He rides TTs as fast as Indurain (TDF 07) taking nearly 2 mins out of Cancellera in the same performance.
He makes sudden performance improvement in 2007 then drops level as the doping controls get tighter.

He is the same weight as Contador (well 1Kg heavier) yet TTs faster when it is longer than 40k. Supposedly some posters think weight matters in Time Trialling.

He has a far worse TT position than Contador so power to weight or Watts/Kg must be higher in a TT. Again another measure used to imply a cyclist is doping

He manages to ride with Rasmussen and Contador in 07 through most of the mountains and responds to attacks until finally cracking. Supposedly both of these guys were up to the eyeballs but Evans wasn't.
His FT power is over 400 Watts so for a guy that is 63Kg that is above the impossible to achieve limit people post as well.

Have to agree it is ridiculous the speculations thrown around who is definitely doping yet someone so similar is definitely not.

Hardly everyone. I understand why you'd rant about this, but the regular, non-trolling board members consider Evans a top GC rider like the others, with all implications that carries.

Absolutely, that is because he IS a top GC rider. The only thing he appears to lack is anaerobic capacity (i.e. attacking), but his sustainable aerobic power/weight is clearly top-notch, without doubt top 10 in the world IMHO, likely top 5.

Because he is generally very consistent, which is why his collapse in the tour this year was a surprise. Because he doesn't have a spectacular attacking style that is associated with doping - he looks like he is always on the limit just to keep up with the other GC guys. And because as an individual he is painfully shy - it's much harder to believe someone of that character would be running around doing elaborate blood doping scams. He can't even get his own team to work for him!

I wouldn't trust power number comparisons - those are always very loose and inaccurate.

It's interesting that even those clued up board members still have trouble directly saying he dopes. It's just hinted at by talking about "implications" or asking why anyone thinks he is "different". Nobody is saying he definitely blood dopes here.

I suggest this reveals doubt even in the harden sceptic's mind.

Oh wow, in additional to his obviously incredible rhetorical and debating skills, BPC is also an accomplished armchair psychologist. Truly amazing.

So nobody is ever allowed to speculate about people having misgivings in a discussion without being a psychologist? Yawn.

Why not tell us if you believe Evans blood dopes?

What is it with all the VD references with you and TFF? Y'all have something to share (no pun intended)?

Its because everyone went all PC "you can't say that because he had cancer" on anyone who called Lance a "cancer" to cycling (which he is mind you). I decided that since cancer was off the table, I would come up with something else that described his contribution to the world of cycling. Venereal disease works almost as well.

However, if you are inquiring because you want a case of the clap, I suggest going to an area of your city where transvestite hookers prowl. Me, I don't flow that way, but I get the "woman up top, man on the business end" vibe from you.
