Does doping give you cavities?
i'm ignorant on the matter, but seems possible that certain peds stimulate sugar and/or certain acid production, which then could effect the teeth.

The other skill of american football players

Doing your own IV!!

This video is sickening for more than one reason.

He says he's been tested 8 times a year for 10 years and we're supposed to believe (I think he does believe) that is enough to ensure clean sport.

Campbell-Brown back in action after JAAA decide a diuretic isn't performance enhancing. Of course it isn't, that's not the point of using them. WADA better challenge it.

word round the campfire is that IAAf will. Some expected a pathetic 6mth backdated ban, but the full exoneration comes across as a bit of a slap in the face.

Which it may not be, and which may be unfair on VCB - but that's where JADO/JamAthletics is now.

Cycling has made its bed.
There's no reason to look through the window. One only needs to deal with what's in the mirror and solve the personal problem.

I guess he eats at least 3000 kcal a day. Why does he need additional vitamins anyway ? And if he is iron or b12 deficent. he should seek proper medical treatment.. hokuspokus.. Does he sell or promote supplements ?

Funny how this story is going round the press at the same time the news of the audit emerges.

http://m.timesofindia.com/sports/mo...fessional-footballer/articleshow/24186843.cms

Reminds me a bit of the story of Lance working with Ferrari diverted by the tale of him trying to break the world hour record.

Oh,come on!

Bolt has been making noises about football for years! He's a big mufc fan, it's well known and well documented.

Look, the audit's an excellent thing, but this is just a silly connection to make.

Hoping it's not something that makes the Vrijman report look legitimate.
The Vrijman report was commissioned by the UCI. Wada called it "fallacious in many aspects and misleading".

I am aware that it's not a new thing, it was mainly reported in the press just after the Olympics.

However if you search Usain Bolt on google news now as opposed to last week you will find 50 articles about it as leaks from his autobiography.

Not sure when the autobiography is due out, that would determine whether or not it was reported as a diversion.

I know but the further WADA goes from **** Pounds reign with the employees he hired and into Faheys, the less confidence I have in them.

It came out last month (12 September) in the UK. It came out last week (9 October) in India. It's out next month in the US (5 November).

He's just doing publicity for it. The tin foil hat will have to wait for another occasion.

Sounds like WADA are serious about kicking the Jamaicans out of the Olympics.

http://olympictalk.nbcsports.com/2013/10/22/jamaica-anti-doping-wada-usain-bolt-track-and-field/

One can but hope.

I don't want jamaica kicked out of the Games. they bring colour to the show. But if they don't sort out the system, out they should go. because whatever the faults of other countries on this front, the rate of testing in jamaica, and much more worrying the attitude of JADCO, has to change.

RUSADA has announced over a hundred doping positives this year alone. Tons of athletes and swimmers, including olympic and world medalists .

In one sense it could make you dispair of russian sport and the overhang of the soviet factory.

But in another way, taking a step back, it's actually quite hopeful. Better shame now than coverup forever.

Compare with turkey, where many of their recent rash of positives seem to involved external interventions. Less hope there.

Regarding the F1 drivers taking Tacrine, an Alzheimer's med, in the belief it will help them better remember the circuit's layout, in yesterday's UAE "The National,"a former F1 medical delegate rubbishes the idea, saying it isn't even on the sport's prohibited list, and it doesn't really do all that much for Alzheimer sufferers, so it hardly would be worth the risk of side effects to the drivers.

Former F1 driver Heikki Kovalainen echoes what was in an earlier post here, saying the circuits aren't so complex as to pose any difficulty to remember.
