Let's hope that they keep her in prison and that drivers start to get the message that using their vehicle as a weapon is unacceptable.
she did that 'literally' around the corner from the stoke-newington police station!movingtarget said:mariposa said:http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-39876692

Really it's a wonder that the road toll for cyclists isn't much higher. She should have had to pay for his medical costs and been banned from driving for life as well as the prison sentence. I bet if the roles were reversed and the cyclist was a pregnant woman the sentencing would have been much different.

It's not just the physical injuries - hope she can overcome her problems.

wilful misconduct by the driver but it would appear to be
negligence with a very disastrous outcome.

Mr. Little would seem to be a man of some taste, rocking
a vintage Clamont. Best of luck to him in what will possibly
be a very long and painful recovery.
I know this is wrong, but it's the first thing I thought of...oldcrank said:Wow, this is pretty horrific from NSW. Likely not a case of

More carnage. How don't you see three cyclists ? Probably drugs. All too familiar.

Ah, the old "I didn't see them" routine, which roughly translated is "I didn't look", although everyone falls for it.movingtarget said:42x16ss said:You choose not to and hope a magistrate believes you.movingtarget said:winkybiker said:http://www.theage.com.au/victoria/macedon-crash-cyclist-critical-two-others-injured-after-collision-with-car-20170612-gwpdv2.html

Well it seems to be an effective starting point for a defense if the history of such cases is any indication. Clean record ? No problem 50 hours community service and licence suspended for 6 months. Compared to what the victims families go through........................
That'd have to be the only cycling article published by the telegraph that doesn't have a comments section...movingtarget said:I will let the facts speak for themselves
