think we can assume this is the race now.

I really heart the cobbles more then anything else in cycling.

+1

These are the best races of the year. Anyone who denies it is ignorant or just trying to be cool.

Or ride Treks on every second Sunday?
Seems Geoffroy LeQuatre was signed by the Shack to be their top rider in every race. He's up in the front group, on his own again.

Breschel is looking concentrated, Boonen is looking like he's almost home from a training ride.

Sky played a very canny tactical game by getting Thomas in that early move and then having Flecha follow Boonen and Cancellara across. I'll be impressed if Geraint can hang with this group until the finish, though.

Breschel has made his move with 22km to go and so far no-one is chasing him down.

@TRDean

I think De Kort is in the group Boonen. Not bad at all.

/Wuyts says it's Veelers. Thought I saw 171. (and long hair :))

Why are they letting Breschel go?

This is it if they don't act fast..

Well, The Canc was performing some medieval Swiss torture on them for a good 10-15kms.... That'll soften you up something frightfull.

But Quick-Step is still very weak as a team. Usually they'd be up there with four guys and try to mop up this attack.

No-one is helping sky with the chase here, and I don't think Thomas has the legs to pull it back on his own.

That's what I ment. Boonen should have followed Breschel himself. It was obviuos Canc destroyed any hopes of a good working chase group.

Ah, there he goes :))
