So, they have a special edition kit for Vlaanderen.
Does anyone have a picture in... colour?
I saw it on one of the cycling news sites I think CN but might be Velonews. Anyway it's black with a white stripe with EF full name in black letters across the Chest. It's supposed to be a throw back look that I am not familiar with and I think for a one off it's good, might not wear well visually over an extended time but like the one off myself.

A black and white kit looks better in black and white? Mkay...

tbf it does, but that maybe because the colour photo is just a snapshot, and the bw is setup to showcase the aesthetic they were going for.

plus the striping effect on the sleeves is more obvious on the colour, and the minor sponsors logos make the kit look busier than what initially appeared to be just a simple black/white kit.

basically I like the bw photo more than the colour one :)

Archie Ryan looks really talented, Ben Healy 2.0
I don't think they're particularly similar riders.

Ryan seems more of a natural climber than Healy. And Healy becoming so good came a bit out of the blue, while Ryan has been considered a big talent for years, only held down by health problems.

Have you considered they're both Irish

I have been critical of their spring classics team in the past, so I feel obliged to point out that they were outstanding today. Wish Bettiol could have held on for a podium, but team was quite strong.

I thought for sure Bettiol was going to hang on for at least third.

But yes, Bettiol has made EF seem competitive this spring.

EF rode a good race. 6 riders in top55.

Too bad there were 4 UAE riders in the group behind Bettiol, I think he and Teuns would've managed to defend the podium positions otherwise.

Bettiol even had to chase the leading group for a while after he crashed (Bissegger helped him) and had a broken bike. He was really strong, a podium was cearly in the cards for him.

Van den Berg skips Roubaix but will ride BP and AGR.

Nerukar and Van der Lee in the Roubaix squad instead. This is pretty experimental. And I already said several months ago that EF had so few specialists for flat races that their Paris-Roubaix roster would likely need to be pretty experimental. I was not wrong.

Good to see that the team finally has a sprinter they can rely on. Do you think he can be in contention in Brabantse Pijl?

Pays de la Loire obviously isn’t the biggest race, but that was an encouraging performance. Van Den Berg is turning into a very useful second tier sprinter, there was strong domestique work from a couple of neopros and Healy is showing form at the right time.

I have a feeling Bettiol ends up in Uae after this season. What a addition to that team that would be.

Not only one of the strongest in the world in that department but also something they need more of. (Politt, Bjerg) would be the perfect signing and icing on the cake.

Did Van den Berg really think he had a better chance of winning solo than waiting for the sprint? Come on!

But he's developed into an impressive rider.
