Did you even watch the sprint?

First he has to bridge to gap to the first 3. There both Stybar and Richeze are mooching of Roelandts. Then Roelandts stops, so Boom has to go because otherwise the group would be caught by the peloton (thinking about precious GC seconds).

So how the hell should he have won when he is the one who leads out the sprint with two guys on his wheel that are relativly fresh????

some comments truly amaze me...

No, I didn't see it, that's why I asked this forum

just seen the final 3km..

2 impressive things
-the way boom closed the gap
-the way he started the sprint

such acceleration.. too bad he started the sprint too early in hindsight, otherwise he'd win easily if he waited longer

Yeah, I was amused at DerEffe's comment as well. Wtf? I was amazed Boom even had acceleration left for that sprint after the jump he had to do to close the gap

Today's finish looks a bit technical to say the least. Two sharp bends inside the last km and potential to be damp as well

Maybe another successful late attack ?

When there is a crash, Quigley's dumb *** should shut up and let the other guy identify the riders involved. Since Quigley can only identify Wiggins. Who was not involved.

If you wonder why Boom mixed it up in a bunch sprint: this is his home town, and he wanted to take the leader's jersey. Which he did.

Is Farrar's sprint getting worse? He was a like a big slow turtle blocking the road and getting in the way.
He hasn't won a sprint outside of the USA since 2011. If he is
going to have any success in the future it will have to come
from getting in a break because I can't see him ever winning
a bunch sprint in any sort of major race again.

Like major races as a stage in Eneco tour?
Too early to write off Farrar as a sprinter methinks.

Anyway here is a nice shot of the last 50 meters of action from yesterday's stage:
