Yeah those are the ones i was reffering to and i was always peeved with Liverpool fans claiming he wasnt diving when it was so bait.

The worst one and the first one i saw though was the cl final. And Rafa benitez had the gall to say gatusso deserved red. Gattusso touched his shirt, his feet were 2 metres away and gerrard fell down and slid accross the area.

Worth more than a thousand dives outside the area.

was about to mention this one, I was so angry at the time.

Dislike gerrard a lot. He attempted oen against sweden I think

Pity that the golden generation of Czech players is no more. They were my favourite team, and now only Cech and Baros remain.

While I believe Portugal is a better team in general, I think today the Czechs were particularly poor. Kudos to Ronaldo for playing really well and being decisive with Portugal at last.

nedved :(

I miss the old Czech squad as well. But I thought they did alright today. 2nd half performance by the Czechs was not as good as 1st half for sure

Pilar has had a good tournament. He joined Wolfsburg for 1m this summer. Bargain. Magath has a good eye for a bargain when he sees one. Jiracek plays there as well.

Jiracek played well yesterday. Mandzukic plays for Wolfsburg as well. They do buy Eastern European players. Dzeko and Misimovic former players for example.

Marek Heinz was a very good player. The team from Euro 2004 was a very good one. Correct me if I am wrong.

Cech

Grygera Ujfalusi Rozenhal Jankulovski

Poborsky Galasek Rosicky Nedved

Koller Baros

And you would have Heinz and Smicer on the bench. That match with Holland in 2004 was one of the best games you could see. Rosicky was outstanding in that tournament but injuries ruined him over the years. Even Patrik Berger also played for them in the past. Karol Bruckner was a very good coach for them as well.
Yes, that was one awesome team. I never liked Poborsky ever since I first saw him play in the Euro 1996, but damn, in 2004 he won me over. What a player.

I swear to god, when the Czech Republic was kicked out of that Euro, that hurt more than any time Spain went home early. But then, I'm no nationalist, I usually root for whoever plays the best football, and the Czechs were easily it in 2004. Just like in 2010 I was kinda rooting for Germany.

i thought only female like him :p

I've been a huge fan of Argentina (all started with Batistuta) for many years, but can't bring myself to become a Messi fan.

The exorbitant Messi love and the attention to his persona that almost leads to ejaculation with some male fans have led me to support Ronaldo. He may not be the most likable player, but I fail to see the relevance.

I can't see why you want to be a fan of a diving ******bag who's blatantly gay but hasn't come out of the closet yet.

Yes he's also very skilled. But he has too much annoying behaviour to possibly like him

Are you describing Gesink? ;)

Almost agree with everything you just said, big Argentina fan and thought Batigol was awesome, just replace your comments regarding Messi with Miss Cristy and I'm in complete agreement.

Ronaldo was very good, but the best Portugal player last night, and in the whole tournament is Moutinho. Fantastic.
Ronaldo is brilliant, though amazingly unlikable, and takes himself far too seriously [kinda like Mourinho]. But, when he's in form, he can win games by himself.
Meireles is terrible, I don't get why is he in the starting 11.

Hope Greece will beat Germany tonight. Don't think it will happen, but I think it won't be as easy for Germany as most expect.

Klose is playing!
Come on Greece really isn't good after all.
This will be a walk in the park for Germany. As it would be for many other teams left.

Of course, Germany is much better than Greece, there is no discussion on that. I just think that this Germany has problems when the opponent defends deeply. Greece will park the bus and hope for the best. If Germany scores goal on time [as in, begore, say, 70th minute] I could see it easily ending 3-0 or something like that. But, as I said, I have the feeling it will be a bit harder and more frustrating for Germany.
