I assume swear words are a part of it, too, but the teams definitely wouldn't have agreed to it, expecially not for just 5000 Euros, if it could give their opponents some very useful intel.

Teams would definitely need to be creative. Invent some sort of code, or something.
Of course, as we learned a few years ago, when Pogacar goes solo off the front, not even his teammates understand what Hauptman is saying! Well... Novak does, I guess.

At last, we've got some real criticism of Eurosport.

Anders Mielke got Mads Pedersen's name tattooed on his thigh, following a bet. Now Mikkel Tofte Langerhuus is hitting out, saying that "The TV coverage of the world's biggest cycling race has become one big club". Brian Holm has joined in, calling journalist fanboys and fangirls.

Mielke should just stop making bets with Mads P.
First he spent a few days at the Giro with just one shaved leg, because he'd said he'd shave a leg for each of Mads' stage wins, but then of course Mads only won one stage. And now this.

Adam Blythe said that, if he had been told in advance that there would be four British riders in the top ten on Grand Colombier, that with the exception of Pidcock, he would never have guessed that it would be these four.

So who did he expect to be more likely to finish in the top ten on a mountain stage than Adam and Simon Yates (both in the top 20 climbers, and top 15 GC riders in the world by PCS) and 63 kg James Shaw, who had just top tenned on Puy de Dome?
Apparently Ben Turner, Fred Wright and, presumably, Mark Cavendish.

Adam Blythe is employed as an expert analyst.

just a few points...
1)sick to death of HyperbOrla telling us that this is the greatest TdF ever (izzenehht?)
2)sick to death of the whole tourdefrancefemmesaveczwift being said at every mention of this race.
3)Marty McCrossen/McDonald is still totally unbearable

Every race is the bestest ever these days, I'm not sure why they have to join in the hype machine but it seems to be the instruction they get from the production team.

As is rolling out the full name of the race, keeps the sponsor happy, as tbf if you weren't a fan of pro women's cycling, would you even know Zwift were the sponsor ?

As for 3) Ive got nothing :)

And the good points, come on you can't just moan.

theyre not on for another 3 weeks, well except Marty ;) but whatever good points there maybe its hard to reconcile when like today, instead of showing the podium presentation properly in Paris, theyre just busy chatting away and talking to random riders who werent providing great race insight and wanted just to go off and be with their teams.

and I wasnt comfortable with the way Orla was questioning Fred Wright or Matej Mohoric about whether they were "alright", that seemed a deeply personal question that maybe post race when the cameras are all switched off, she can ask as a concerned friend, but as a broadcaster talking to millions of people watching you dont ask people how they are dealing with grief like that, what does she expect them to say, no were still grieving for our colleague & friend who died ? which they clearly still are when you see the emotion when they win a stage.

TBF to Chennaoui she is just reflecting the voice of a major part of the fandom, who have morphed into Springfield's Comic Book Guy and declare every race the best edition ever. Hell, there's even a sector of the fandom openly embracing precognition and calling future races the best ever. See, for instance, the Vuelta, which round this time of the year is typically forecast to be the bestest ever, with the most stacked field in the whole history of the ever ever.

That said, those fans are fukcing annoying and Chennaoui really shouldn't be playing to them. But that's Eurosport/GCN for you. They know their audience.
