Why? I'd like to see Roglic winning the Tour. I don't see him doing that being up on his own against UAE and Jumbo/Soudal/Amazon/whatever.I was addressing his move to Bora. Anyway, every cycling fan should cheer this move by Rogla regardless of his personal likings.
Isn't C. Rodriguez leading Ineos at the Tour as guarantee of his contract extension? So does that take Ineos out of the question?
Can't wait to see Vlasov and one of his boys attack Roglic in The Tour to try and secure a big 7th place.
6 million though, fair play, got that Froome **** you money
The point is that there is an overall feeling that after a team winning 3 GTs the peloton is unbalanced. Had he not left Jumbo, Rogla in the Tour would be blocked and it would make things much more predictable. Jumbo are at loss here but it's a fair loss. Why? I'd like to see Roglic winning the Tour. Vlasov will reinstate the great pan-slavic kingdom by being a dom to Rogla. And thus ending the war in Ukraine.Vlasov will bend the knee to his new Slovenian overlord.
Next year the Tour will be with a lot of good riders (Vingegaard, Evenepoel, Pog, Roglic, Ayuso...). I think Vlasov and Hindley have a better chance for a podium or even a win if they go to the giro. Uijtebrooks can go the the Vuelta.Vlasov will bend the knee to his new Slovenian overlord.

He wouldn't have been blocked. The Vuelta is not the Tour, there you don't fill the podium and get to decide who wins. The point is that there is an overall feeling that after a team winning 3 GTs the peloton is unbalanced. I'm a cycling fan and thinks this i excellentYeah fans complain over JBV dominance and then we have this absolute legendary rider going away from them and all people do is....to complain. Roglic is balancing the peloton just by his own mindset. Get a grip people.
I hope it is Ineos. That team has the money, coaches, and support to help make him successful. It will be Ineos
I've never seen Bahrain ride as a team. They show up with 3-4 super doms and you never know which one of them will lead the team to 8th.Ineos makes more sense than Bora, but maybe they will back C. Rodriguez.
Bora is a little bit all over the place. I dont think Vlasov, Hindley, Higuita etc would be the best doms. Not really Martinez either. They are all on the same level. Nobody really stands out from that lot and they all good enough to win races. Uijtebroeks is/should be the future of that team. It is a bit crowded there now and even though Roglic is Roglic... I dont think it would be the best fit.
Roglic to Movistar, Jayco or Bahrain would make more sense for me than Bora. Then again Movistar has Mas and Jayco has S. Yates.
The more I think about it... Bahrain makes the most sense. Especially with Landa leaving. They have experienced support with Poels, Bilbao, Haig and Caruso. Buitrago there as well. Young Tiberi. Fellow countrymen Mohoric and Grovekar is there. To me they are the best fit and he would be undisputed leader.

Roglic would be the obvious leader but I'm not sure if they have it in their DNA to really get organized into a race controlling force.
