Teams & Riders Everybody needs a little bit of Roglstomp in their lives

The last off topic and then I'll stop.
After his shoulder surgery in 2022, he had an interview for Slovenian radio channel Val202. Even then were some transfer rumours and he said:
"There are always some speculations, but we all know I have a contract with TJV. For how many years? Definitely next year, then we'll see. Nothing lasts for ever in sports and in life. We are always trying to find optimal ways, each and every one of us. I am always trying to find the best conditions for me where ever I am." And he had a contract for 3 more years then...

Lost access to the foodcoach app
What is this, some new forum rules I'm not aware of? We are suddenly allowed to discuss doping in this subforum?

@Mod: I don't think just avoiding the actual word and changing it with some sort of codename which everyone knows what it stands for does the trick. If that is the case, just strip the rule altogether and let's have another clinic here...

You think he's implying doping. I personally see it as saying that he moved from a team that has everything worked out perfectly for their riders, to a team that doesn't do it as well. And that is summarized under the joke "foodcoach app".

See here:
(as mod)
Let's put it here:
It seems very difficult, to say the least, to take references in various rider threads, particularly those who are or were at Jumbo/Visma, to the "Food App" at face value rather than as a euphemism for doping, so can we just drop it in non-clinic threads as of now.

Maybe there will be a reason to specifically refer to it, but unless good reason is very clearly indicated, it has reached the limit of 'Most Reasonable Interpretation' being plausible.

Ok, can I use "he lost access to juice" then? As a joke? Or as a metaphor for everything he had but doesn't have anymore? Didn't think so..

But anyway, mod appears to agree with my understanding, didn't notice their post - thanks for letting me know, @Netserk.

The person using that clearly said he meant my interpretation.
Even if the person did mean that (which I doubt), we are by now all aware that a considerable portion of this thread understands this as a euphemism for doping. Which means that when you use it in your post, you are aware what kind of message you are actually conveying.

And when I said I doubt the poster really meant that, I didn’t mean to say they’re being dishonest, I was merely referring to all the things TJV had but Bora now doesn’t have.

"For the cyclists of Team Jumbo-Visma, nutrition is of crucial importance for optimal performance."

Its seems discussing or reference to a nutrition app is inappropriate content, smh.

My mid size analysis of PN is that in TTT the team was not up to the task and the team will hence need to adapt to this new standard in the future races and not the other way around. It can't be a tactical error, to finish in the same margin as the best teams, at the intermediate. Individually, and that is what is important for this season, Rogla did good in TTT. That means that not only form but the material is good too. While we are at the team, i feel that Bora is impacted by Rogličes arrival and all top riders entered the season in good form. It makes sense to do that, at a race such as PN was, but at the Tour a bigger sacrifice will need to be made, for Rogla, by his teammates. Sticking with Rogla regardless of his perceived form will be a must and he really shouldn't lose seconds, due to his team. As for the management, there i don't expect to hear excuses on social media, on how the legs are good or bad on some stage. Rogla is much much better at answering such questions. Rogla in my opinion was not overweight and had some good form and ambition entering the race. Some smaller race before PN would likely be beneficiary and weather in my opinion did play a role.

As for my short size analysis of PN. Rogla was not in the mood.

A gift here and there delivered by Bora and the mood should improve. To quote Balsamo that put it nicely:

Our strength is teamwork. We don’t always have the strongest individual, but as a collective we have few equals.

Surviving on the last climb wasn’t exactly easy.

But when a sprinter smells victory, it’s like a regeneration.

I feel it's OK for Rogla to show a bit of vulnerability, exposing the important things, team cohesion and similar. Maybe Bora doesn't even realize it yet, they got a sprinter and we all know they can be demanding.

111th edition of the Tour will likely be the most attack oriented one in its entire history, so good luck without your team fully backing you on every step of the way. Team building is hence the most important step in the preparation for the Tour 2024. On individual level i feel that a mini peak for Flèche and a peak for the final ITT at the Tour, that are the things the focus should be on the most. As for the rest que sera, sera.

This is the most stupidest thing

Nah, it's beautiful and thank you Bora for bringing food on Rogličes table and believing in him. The meal looks healthy and considering it's prepared by a master chef on quality equipment, not much to complain about.

P.S. Should be interesting to see the Red Bull one. So after a good meal now Jonas and Remco next on the menu, that should improve the mood ever so slightly.
