Just watching a Rog post-race interview. Said he was suffering the last 3 stages (effects of crash implied).
No, just not good enough. Crashes are masking his true climbing level. It is very good but nowhere near the level of Vingegaard/Pogacar.What happened? Crashes this year affecting him? Bad prep?
No, no, no. Only Remco can improve for the Tour. 😅Great overall win by Roglic and how I expected today to go. Maybe not the strongest in the race but the smartest overall and won it with his team, the sprints for bonus seconds, and staying within himself. Hopefully he can build towards the Tour.
Who is the last rider to win 10 of these races? Can't think of anyone ever since I started watching. Not bad, eh?

Kelly is the only one. Both Rominger and Anquetil are at 9.Who is the last rider to win 10 of these races? Can't think of anyone ever since I started watching.
Why not, eh? If his rival says "I'm gone, I'm dead", Rogla can easily afford one day like this.Good win for Roglič but if he has a day line this in the Tour, he won't be winning it.

I expect Rogla to be dropped long before those words. Why not, eh? If his rival says "I'm gone, I'm dead", Rogla can easily afford one day like this.
He needs to go to extra shoulder examination tomorrow. It was a hard crash.
Reading this forum I sometimes think that breaking a wrist is maybe even worse then breaking a neck.Unfortunately for Roglič that rival is not coming to the Tour after breaking his wrist this time and if he has a day like today others will challenge him regardless.
We don't know yet, but he already had a surgery on that shoulder after 2022 season. I think it's not that innocent when he starts explaining to the media how much it hurts... Usually he doesn't say anything. As in the TDF could be in danger? I mean he could sprint after the crash so surely it's not that bad? Or is just something he will need to take care in the off season (a surgery to fix it)?
Not sure yet. They found fluid in his shoulder and it's bothering him a lot.As in the TDF could be in danger? I mean he could sprint after the crash so surely it's not that bad? Or is just something he will need to take care in the off season (a surgery to fix it)?
It will be his level in the Tour if his crash rate stays the same.Yeah I mean if this is his level at the Tour I wouldn't be surprised if there is some outsider who nails his shape and is straight up better than him.
climbing and TT.I hope Roglic will improve towards the Tour; at this moment he is the only realistic competition for pogacar: Vingegaard is very unsure, Remco’s climbing pedigree is not enough and all others either lack climbing or a tt.
