My god, I remember posting on some random .be forum, saying this Roglic ITT victory was more suspicious than the Foliforov MTT victory.
Likely a couple of days after, i assume, stage 9? On where Rogla won. Great memories, like it was yesterday.

How many kids falling sideways off the starting ramp were cut from the footage?View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yb8sHprf6_o
Considering his age this is on how Rogla likely feels in pro peloton, like he is in a kindergarten.
None, but they had to cut out two tries from Rogla. How many kids falling sideways off the starting ramp were cut from the footage?
I think Giro decision might be depending on the competition.Since he's a huge underdog on any route I think it's sooner decided based on "do I think I can do a good Giro-Tour double on these routes" rather than "can I beat Pogacar and Vingegaard on these routes"
Remco&Rog : Giro + TourThe Giro? It is indeed an option. But the Tour-Vuelta combination is also an option, or just the Tour de France. We still have to decide that. The only thing I can say now is that we are happy with the Tour route. It is really something for Jonas”,
I think this route is good for him. Not to hard, no to easy, both TTs are good for him, cause there is not much changing paces. Also stages are not too long for him. Like you said, he is unlikely to win against those two monsters but Remco is still beatable. I would even say he is not so far from Jonas but Tadej is killing him with his "jumping". I just wish one year is going right for him (without crashes) before TdF because we never see him in perfect shape there, he even had bad crash at Dauphine 2020 but everybody just remember him being second that year on TdF.I haven’t studied the route and I know Roglic is unlikely to win on any route, but what’s the consensus? How does the route look for him given his strengths and weaknesses?
Caen TT is pure flat which is a disadvantage for him. The other one is pure w/kg, not bad but not gaining any time either. The route is definitely too hard for him, he struggled recently on multi-mountain stages like Bondone or Granada which we have plenty here in Loze, Superbagneres, Plagne. The only unipuerto stage like Ancares which is his best performance this year is Ventoux but even there the climb is too long. The route is tailor-made for Vingegaard with all the stages where he beat Pog in the latest years.I think this route is good for him. 10 days of flat hilly nervous *** at least he can quit early and prepare for Vuelta better.I haven’t studied the route and I know Roglic is unlikely to win on any route, but what’s the consensus? How does the route look for him given his strengths and weaknesses?
I just hope he can just stay on his bike this season. I think Giro is also the best option for him but those sterrato stages worry me10 days of flat hilly nervous *** at least he can quit early and prepare for Vuelta better.
Realistically, Hautacam, Peyragudes and Ventoux are good stages for Roglic, the rest is pretty bad for him. Him losing to Pog and Vingegaard isn't route dependent anyway. I much prefer him to go to the Giro regardless of route.
I don't see why he would go to Giro. It doesn't add much to his palmares and it still chance he doesn't win or even worse-he crashes. Also he can't do Giro-Suiise-TdF and he said Suisse is his big goal next year. Everybody just avoiding Tadej-Jonas duo would be really worrying, especcialy if 3rd (or4th) best GT rider on the world is not on the race.I just hope he can just stay on his bike this season. Giro is still the 2nd best prize of the year with the best trophy and probably his last real chance for a GT given his age and probably Vuelta will have Pog/Ving. Anyone will take a Giro before a 2nd/3rd at Tour. Not to mention it goes to Slovenia this year. Suisse is great but honestly this feat of having all one-week races would probably be done by Pog/Ving/Remco as well.I don't see why he would go to Giro. Lmao stops pedaling "are they there yet".He almost won the "race", but he knew he wouldn't get his appearance fee if he did.
