Narrow margins.

It was a real shame because he rode so well (as did Evenepoel). These little mini disasters are very annoying.

Fortunately it was a low speed crash so hopefully there's no real damage.

There will be massive margins and cracks in the upcoming stages. I do not trust any of the big 4 to be invulnerable. The course is incredibly hard and each has a reason to crack. Pogacar's reckless racing style is already showing its adverse effects today.

People talking about misfortunes...
This has been his luckiest GT by far, the guy has 9 lifes. To be only 2:14 down in GC is a joke given that he got dropped a billion times this Tour, now being awarded the same time as Remco is just the icing on the cake.
Don't think that crash was hard, he got two days of nothing to recover and then it's time to show if he's really peaking for the last week. He won't win it of course but he's not far off Remcos level.

Lol wut? He gets the same time as Remco... That must be a joke right??

If so, then there are still hope for yellow...

I think you're right. Up until that crash, Roglic was looking much better. Vingo is looking damn good. Pogi may get a bit frazzled by Jonas, but it'll take him cracking to lose his advantage. And Remco, who knows how the really big mountains will treat him. He's doing better than I expected. So far, it's been a great show!

Do you really think that those 30 seconds would make the difference. It's quite clear his only shot of winning is if both Jonas and Tadej either crash or bonk big time (talking 5-6 min in one stage). Remco is obviously still ahead but I think he will ship more time in the big mountains with comparison to Roglic.

Now if there is one year that Tadej or Jonas can bonk is this year. Tadej has Giro in the legs and Jonas had big crash 3 months and can bonk any time and we shouldn't be surprised.

So this is the year, I can feel it. Till now (minus the crash) he had all going his way (little time loss on Galibier, San Luca, no time loss in gravel stage...). This is how he can win it.

And now he has crash in his system so I am sure he feels complete now. Now or never.

I don’t care about the same time. He would’ve stayed with Remco nonetheless and it could be a good sprint. Just hope he didn’t get injured badly, he was really good today and tried to follow Vingo.
Battle for podium still on.
Aldag said on German television that he is fine, shoulder not affected (biggest worry) and he just fell on the side.

Rog seemed stronger today (stage 11) than in earlier stages. The crash wasn't good, but let's hope it was not a bad one in the Roglic gallery of crashes. ... Who knows, maybe he actually gets stronger relative to one or more of the guys ahead of him in GC?
