So it has come to this.

4 days ago i said spain who have far more talent would crush Germany.
Everyone else said spain have been crap and that Germany would beat them easy.

Hopefully everyone else was right, though i still have my doubts.

Your lucky this thread hasn't as many readers as the others do. You might want to hold back on some of that info in future with the guys running around here. What you wrote will get some people hot under the collar.

In the last WC, I thought in the Semis Germany was at a disadvantage because they lost Schweinsteiger because of 2 yellows. I thought before the match they would pay against Italy. This time it is Muller. I don't think his absence will matter too much. Germany will be fine. Spain have not looked as good as they did in Euro 2008. Passing is fine but their scoring is lacking. Take Villa and Iniesta out of the game and Spain lose. Spain are missing Marcos Senna.

I just heard Pedro is playing! WTF! No Fabregas.:( No Torres:(

I think Germany will win. Only Villa can stop them and that man is a machine. Good match about to start shortly.

Not me but others. I can handle the heat. I live in a HOT country.

Civil disobedience is the one thing keeping me away from South Africa. I've heard too many stories of people being mugged and shot at by locals to venture to those shores voluntarily. No matter how many people hit the Saffers up for this WC and all the great football teams present, I would struggle to have fun in that country.

I hear different things about Colorado. Good altitude backed by the weather this time of year. How many Triathletes are flocking there right now? A lot I bet. Heck, Lance spent some time there with Bottle before last years Tour. Much better place to be IMO.

Does the way Germany are playing mean Portugal and Paraguay were hard done by?

Spain are looking pretty good right now. They were my pre tournament favourites so maybe I should be happy. I'll see how the rest of the game pans out.

Second 15 minutes more equal, but still for Spain.

Still, not really any good chances; German defense is bending but not breaking.

BTW, can anyone tell me what exactly Sergio Ramos is good at?

He's always been overrated. He's only good at going forward, but often leaves enormous gaping holes in the defense. Has been one of Real's biggest liabilities the last few years.

Beating you to the punch. He is well known for getting in with other players current squeezes before they are even on the scene. Point in question; ask Ronaldo about his ex, the FHM model. Sergio had been there and done that. Was a major reason why said female was dumped as soon as Ronaldo moved to Real...bitter taste knowing Sergio was there first and you have to see him at work. Worse is he is Spanish and you are Portuguese and so was your ex.

Also this WC, he is rather good at missing sitter goals.

Yes, but his ability to go forward is hampered by the inability to give a single accurate pass... what an awful player.

His lack of passing is I take it why noone has bothered trying to convert him to a midfielder.

He does make some very good runs every now and again, which do cause havoc in the defense, although, like you said, he really doesn't do nearly as much with them as he should.
