Quote straight from the director of a WADA accredited lab concerning the futility of looking at drug half-life charts to try to guess when and how much of a drug was taken (based on metabolite concentration in urine):

"V[ery] difficult to know when somebody took a drug by just looking at concentration…."

It's detected in urine...

Thanks joe.

Frank's official reaction:

Maybe one of the fans on the side of the road 'poisoned' him?
I'm betting it was a Sky employee wearing a Radio Shack-Nissan
jersey passing up tainted bottles in the hopes of deflecting
attention away from Wiggo/Froome/Rogers et al. Sky is behind
this, there can be no doubt at all.

I agree. The whole system is discriminatory. After all stupid people are people too and athletic performance doesn´t necessarily require intelligence. These rules are biased against halfwits being able to compete in elite sport, it´s disgraceful really.

And you call yourself a fan?

So someone that was doping would take the diuretic right before giving the sample or would it be taken shortly after the dope? It would seem that if it is the latter you are flushing the system of the PED you are hoping to employ.

I think this was probably inadvertent and caused by a supplement or something. I still think it is funny. I can only imagine JV and Wiggins, both of whom have expended a lot of effort convincing the public that the sport is different, being angry and glum over this coming down on their heads. It is totally off message.

for sure. the number of masters riders here in the OC using Testosterone because they can afford it is shocking.

shocking? not really, have you been to a LA/OC gym or weight room lately? take a look around, the quantity of middle aged men (and women) lifting absurd weights with sub 5% body fat is enough to make you think that cycling is a haven for monks and choirboys.

Another weird case. Gotta feel sorry for Frank. Are programs far more complex these days when positives are coming from relatively obscure substances? Doesn't Frank know that it's all about the TB4?

No doubt he will be cleared by the LUX federation, CAS verdict around this time next year.

Yup. I have two friends, known both for 15 years. Suddenly, in their late 30s they are lean, built and buff, almost overnight. One admits to a program, the other I have not asked. However, both have virtually the same "look" now, including obviously over-developed abs.

And the same side effects including hair loss and facial aging. They may have buff bodies, but look older than their real age.
