Direct accusations on french tv from one of the commentators when he slowed down though , calling it "faking" not to look too "doped".

And the half accusations keep coming.

Oh I thought i was in PRR but this was the clinic thread anyway.

I really hope journos dont ask any bull**** questions of - oh do you think your power was high.

No it should be straight up to DB -you said multiple attacks was a sign of doping. Froome put in 4 or 5 today without ever getting tired.

Explain.

Forget everything you thought you know about cycling.

being a no mark, and not a prodigy/prospect is the new definitive proof you can win the Tour De France

This is sports journos. If they suddenly have a brain and some critical thinking, I'd be surprised.

The worst part about this is that they dont even bother to hide it
That arrogance tells me they are not worried about getting caught anytime soon

We should close this thread, there is nothing to discuss, it is too obvious, now will there be a journalist calling him out or will a french prosecutor feel lucky an go for it?

Back on. For how long.

So what were the times.

I saw Race Radio said it was a lot slower than the record, neglecting to mention the record was a itt in Dauphine, but anyway.

There was tailwind today yes, but there was also Froome on his own for a long time and an extremely fast stage before it.

Not a good day to be watching tv. First George Zimmerman is found not guilty, and now this.

Three things stand out about this stage-

1) I've never seen anyone, especially on a climb as hard as the Ventoux, attack by churning up the rpm's like a Fast & Furious race car while remaining seated. It looked like he pressed the nitrous oxide button on his tricked-out Honda Civic when he took off from Contador.

2) Froome took a minute and a half on Quintana in the last kilometer and a half. That is a lot of time in such a short span of time, considering the last two k's were better suited to Quintana. It's not a big deal that he got dropped, seeing as he did put in a lot of work further down the slopes, but to get hammered like that was crazy. And he didn't look like he cracked-Froome just rode away from him like he was standing still.

3) If you don't like this type of racing, this is what you get when you target Contador for extra anti-doping testing-you allow a rider like Froome to have no competition. That was totally and completely bogus, and here I am trying to give Sky in general and Froome in particular the benefit of the doubt.
