Where did i write that it´s ok to dope?
Does Walsh encourage doping now, since he alledgedly "jumped the Sky/Froome bandwaggon" too?

FoxxyBrown1111 said:Until the plasticizer incident i naively tought AC changed to the better. Yes i started to believe him, even rooted for him beating LA in 2009. My first doubts came back in 2010 when he first rode Alpe in 42+ mins http://forum.cyclingnews.com/showthread.php?t=8044 and then ruled the TdF together with AS hand-in-hand up the mountains.
... and then he came away with his doping almost unpunished for a 2nd time. That was enough for me.![]()
FoxxyBrown1111 said:That´s mythical i think... but i am sure RR is the president. He called everything in the LA case correct and in advance. I was stunned back then. Those were the great clinic times. Everytime it looked bad in the LA-case (like for example the infamous SB-Weekend) RR was there to help everybody out of depression.

Brod107 said:So, you stated that it is easier to dominate over months being clean. But you didn't doubt Contador 2008 and 2009. Only started doubting him because of climbing times?
So what's with your own logic? (just for the record, i'm a Fan of Conti)

In AC´s case i was fooled. I admit that already. May the same will happen to me with Froome (told that Libertine already). Who knows, it´s still cycling. It could go either way. BUT: I am not going as far as the clinic to call Froome a doper when there is nothing against him. Nothing (unlike AC, Mosq. or LA back then).
So i´ll enjoy it while i can.

Tyler'sTwin said:So AC doped because he won @ Alpe d'Huez, climbing ~20 seconds slower than pvam into a headwind while attacking repeatedly, which is apparently a terrible performance just a few weeks before the TdF.
How do you feel about Froome's 2011 Tour of Poland?![]()
The Hitch said:I dont know what happened to Race Radio but on Sunday he tweeted that Froome rode the Ventoux 12% slower than Mayo's record and this was good.
I wonder what went through his mind when he found out later that Froome rode it as fast as Armstrong.
Red Lobster said:Wasn't Fignon the last rider to win the GC + five stages? By Paris Froome might even be able to match Fignon's 10 minute margin on GC. Such a shame when historic performances like Fignon's are devalued by modern pharmaceutically powered results.
FoxxyBrown1111 said:Don´t know if there was headwind. Was it discussed back then? Anyway, slower than Herrera in 86? And then putting (w/AS) 1+ min into contenders at the Tdf-MTF? Sorry, i open new threads seldom. But if i do, only when something is really absurd (like Mosq. & AC back then) or missing... I have no reason yet to open a thread "Foxxy calls Froome a doper. Finally".![]()

Tyler'sTwin said:Let's get this straight. 3 weeks before the 2010 TdF, AC finished 2nd overall in the Dauphine, winning the prologue and the queen stage. You conclude that AC must have doped to win the Tour, because he was so poor just 3 weeks before the race.
Now, let's have a look at Froome's 2011 Tour of Poland, which finished just 2 weeks before the start of the 2011 Vuelta.
26 minutes lost in a 1 week stage race won by Sagan.
What's your conclusion?
