Solid ITT today. a slight improvement over the commonwealth games ITT probably but im willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Tend to agree. His Commenweath Games ITT was impressive though. The way he beat that guy from the India made keep an eye on him. And he really showed the guy from Namibia a thing or two about riding a bike.

Considering modern day training programs, isn't Froome just there to ride and train a bit? How we know he is riding for a win? He might not be going over 80% of his MHR.

Little else explains such a huge time gap.

Riding poorly is one thing, but really, any given tour-winner would look suspicious if he suddenly went from a strong tour-victory, to getting his *** kicked by 100+ riders in a race with a far weaker field.

As I said in the official race thread, it seems as though he doesn't give a **** about this race's results. He attends and gets paid by the team to make an appearance. He's won what he has wanted to win this year. Everything else that is up for grabs are peanuts in comparison.

Yes, I think that is what reasonable people would see and/or conclude.

Or to withdraw blood and microdose with epo.
Yes because the best way to do that is fly to a different continent than any other race he is likely to do this season while taking EPO in and blood out through one of the world's strictest border controls.
It is so much simpler and risk adverse than just staying at home and doing it.

I meant to withdraw blood while in Europe, and then go to Colorado to race/train/get appearance fee while microdosing epo to compensate for the missing blood.

And I do think it's possible to get epo over there.

It's still far, far easier to do it at home.

Of course, if the idea that he is there just for training and appearance fee is too difficult for you comprehend then carry on.

Why not do both?

It's also far far easier for him to just sleep the whole day, but I don't think that is the optimal way to prepare for the worlds....

Because if you want to do that doping stuff you want to make it as easy and risk free as possible. Not go the other side of the ocean where you are guaranteed to find some testers.

Even with the biggest dopers, not everything they do is related to doping. You can never understand doping if all you ever see is doping.

Of course not. I have never claimed so. I do find it highly unlikely for a doper to go to Colorado, and not microdose since it's practically undetectable.

Flaco ‏@JonetHernandez1h

Chris Froome abandoned from USA Pro Cycling Challenge. I wonder with what kind bull**** Dave Brailsford is going to come out now.

Flaco @JonetHernandez1h

Chris Froome most be feeling like 2010 when he was a normal rider. He better get his **** right before he'll have to answer a lot question.

He's most likely getting a substantial appearance fee for this race. So, with Sky not having a sprinter tp work for, the organiser has asked him drop out early and press the flesh with sponsors and sign a few autographs - just like they do at crits. Better value for money than rolling in mid-peloton.

the person who put that blog together is a massive Froome fan ;)

Telling that they had to even address the issue, don't you think? Maybe even the Froome fans recognise its the new cancer shield
