To be fair I am Froome fan over Wiggo but Chris really does need to put a muzzle on his other half. It's not her place to speak out either. If anything needs clearing up I'm sure Brad and Chris will sort it. She is making Froome look like a spineless tool fighting his battles for him.

I thought what Wiggins says was fair enough. He said it's a professional sport, you don't always get on with the people you work with but you are professional and you get on with it. Cound isn't part of the sport and consistently puts her emotive and highly personal opinions on a public forum and undoubtedly has influenced Froome and Wiggins' professional relationship.

Wiggins said he's put his hand up for the World Champs road race, that he wants to be part of it racing for a British champion (bit of a stretch with Froome) and get the same feeling he did when riding for Cav. To me he came across as being decent towards Chris. Clearly Cound is in no mood to forgive.

I don't know. Picking apart soundbites quoted in newspapers and extrapolating meaning and agenda and subtext is tedious in extremis, and an exercise in conjecture. I have no idea what is in Brad's head, I'm not sure he does. He does very much shoot from the hip in interviews generally, I doubt he was thinking too deeply about what he was saying.
