Did you see that on twitter : yesterday Ph.Gilbert post a picture of the col de la Madone saying "@lancearmstrong Your climb dude."
A few hours later @michellecound "@PhilippeGilbert @lancearmstrong didn't you get the memo Phil? it's now @chrisfroome's climb"

Is she crazy ? Everyone knows this climb was used for 20 years by Michele Ferrari to test his best doped riders. I know people who didn't buy a Trek just for that reason, Madone = EPO just like Puerto = BB.
This girl is stupid, or...

They are all ignorant. It's Eskimo Tom's climb.

Hey, if Michelle Cound is saying, in some sort of cheeky way, that Froome doped, then more power to her idiot-ness. She seems to be a grade a T-DB.

Meanwhile, Michelle Cound is indirectly comparing Froome's achievements to those of Nelson Mandela :D

@michellecound. Don't listen to the critics, keep your head held high! Those who criticise are usually jealous and have no life of their own!

btw, who's david wainman? he seems to be dissing michelle here:

Surely no one could be that stupid as to mention Chris Froome anywhere near Nelson Mandela? Are you ****ing serious?

Mandela was mainly RSA, the Dawg spans Kenya, South Africa and Britland. Local vs Global.

A good PR person ought to be all about getting positive buzz for the star/client, not about inserting himself/herself into the story as much as possible.

Cycling authorities have stripped Lance Armstrong and Alberto Contador of recent titles after drugs scandals.

Now Froome wants to become the first since Spaniard Miguel Indurain in 1995 to retain his title without being tarnished by a drugs association.

He said: "I'd like to think if I can go back and do it again it will bring some credibility back to the sport."

"I think we're through the toughest time of it now. It is really a minority of riders breaking the rules now and getting caught, but we are still living in that post-doping era where we are having to deal with a lot of negativity."

LOL. :p

so, assuming he is doping, he must be SO VERY SURE that there is no way he's getting caught now and in the future.
has Froome his shoulders covered or he's really using something that cannot be spotted in the doping controls?

Be surprised if this hasn't been said, but:

When Froome stated on the final TDF 2012 podium 'this is one yellow jersey that will stand the test of time', did it not strike people as very very odd considering Wiggins has won it the previous year, for Sky.

Froome not sure about Wiggins win?

There was much more talk about Armstrong than Wiggins in the last year before July, so I guess it was an allusion to Lance.

Yeah more than likely, still conspirators might call freudian slip, or maybe even a niggle at wiggins. I would imagine he would have had to run his victory speech past sir Dave, or even Sky PR people?

Could even have been an in-joke, bearing in mind Wiggins' previous statement upon his win to that effect, which clearly was designed with Armstrong and Contador in mind, but by omission also suggested Wiggins was accusing Sastre while extolling himself and Evans as clean.
