@velocast @TourDeJose no TUE required, he has asthma, hence the coughing after exertion #duh #trolls

I have never read anywhere before that Froome has asthma. But okay...

Yes. You'd kinda think with all the discussion on Badzhilla etc. that it would have been brought up? I mean all the coughing, not feeling well etc. He would have mentioned in his book that he had asthma.

I just typed it into Google (not that this is proof of anything), but there's nothing. He's mentioned Bilharzia, skin rashes- but never asthma. I think Michelle's just made that up. But I also can't believe that whatever was in the inhaler was that serious.

Surely having asthma would be the grounds for a TUE, rather than a reason why none is required?
indeed.

Come on, you don't have any information on what actually happened yet.
Theres a big chance its a non story, but you are already reacting like its a big thing

Assuming its Salbutamol, then yes.

Incorrect. No, you do not need a TUE for salbutamol unless its over 16 puffs a day.

Clinic quoting facts that aren't facts again. :D

Yeah- it's nothing serious- as if he'd be stupid enough to take something illegal in front of the entire peloton...but just one more condition that we didn't know about.

i sense we're gonna get our intelligence insulted again.
either it won't get explained at all, or froome will now have asthma and we'll have to settle with that.

It may be something the clinic made up, but wasn't the coughing because of his Bilharzia.

If you go more than 4 puffs a day, its effect becomes useless.

He followed the instructions well.
For exercise-induced bronchospasm, or EIB, the usual dose for adults and children 4 years and older is 2 puffs taken 15 to 30 minutes before exercise.
