Well after seeing todays stage. I think SKY need to do a few things.

1. Pineapple Juice
2. Hand washing
3. Riders use own pillows
4. Better Training methods
5. Inhalers
6. Tramadol
7. Deliver riders luggage to their rooms
8. Testing of cyclist who live at altitude
9. Refit of on bike position

And a very good swimming coach. Marginal gains.

It's still several persons even though they are clones. Or a one-egged twins also just one person?
Twins have at least alternating personalities. Bots has one purpose in life. Defending Darth Vader Froome, Palpatine Brailsford and Death Star News Corp. at all costs.

Too late he dropped the saddle 3 millmeters after his back problem. So since reading the Climb he has dropped his saddle 3 times now!

Surprised he's not just sitting on the cross bar....

The exercises were not enough. Guillemette went to Monaco to visit Froome, analysed his bike position and made adjustments. He lowered his saddle by two to three millimetres and moved it forward slightly.

“He had an acute flare up, which is why I flew to Monaco. [Adjusting the bike position is] not the first thing to do, but you have to look at how they interact with the bike.

“We tweaked the saddle, initially by five millimetres, but he said that it just felt too low. We found a happy medium. We off-loaded the injured area.”

If he ends up losing it overall, which I expect to happen (my guess is they'll finish together tomorrow), Froome has a decision to make over the next three weeks. Does he 'train harder'...

Switch off the power meter. Do an extra 10 hours without breakfast or food... be at 7's by the Tour...

Yes bots, but not clones. Clones also have different personalities.

Maybe some superficial personality traits, but nothing that goes deeper. They were cloned to serve the same purpose and lived in the same environment (The Death Star). It is difficult to develop a personality when you are taught to swallow the propaganda. Nor will they have an identity since they all look alike.

I'm talking about IRL clones.

Its irony. Or a play on words that those whom have lost ability to walk get to zoom around on chairs with wheels. And people who have legs have to walk.

It was in response to your post that implied asthmatics have some form of advantage over those who don't have asthma.

As asthmatics just love waking up in their sleep not being able to breath. Not fun and very scary cutting oxygen off from your brain when you're not awake to realise what's happening.

Take no offense, I was just a trying to use humor to make a point.

Ah ha - no offense taken (or even thought of), missed your sense of humour there.

I wasn't trying to imply asthmatics have an advantage over others but more a slightly sarcastic point that if its ok for certain conditions to be levelled out (if ventolin does do that) then why isn't it ok for other conditions to be treated in a similar way. I'm not advocating it though - its a bit like the 'everyones doing it' argument.

Chris Froome @chrisfroome · 2h

Chapeau to @albertocontador for taking over the lead today. My team mates did such an amazing job but I ran out of steam at the end...

Chris Froome @chrisfroome · 2h

There’s still one more tough stage to go tomorrow, we're not going to throw in the towel just yet! #Dauphiné

Gotta respect these tweets.

3 years and Froome finally shows a day of weakness.

3 years.

And that day of weakness still involves him wooping all the other gt contenders.

What a joke of a rider this is.

Wait what? It did show weakness in the 3rd week of the Tour last year. He just already had such a large margin that it didnt matter much that he couldnt keep up with Jrod and Nairo.

But otherwise I agree

Tomorrow is interesting. If he shows another day of weakness and with Contador continuing his upturn, I have a feeling we could be in for a Tour potentially as exciting as in 2003.

I hope so.

This was no weakness,he was looking at his stem so he didn't see Contador attacking

I'm no fan of Froome but this hyperbole. There have been many weak days in the last 3 years. Its not as if he won everything from 2011 Vuelta onwards. Surely it's more suspicious the massive peaks and their timing.

I would also disagree - but because I don't think Froome showed weakness. He was still a strong rider - just not the best on the day.

AC played a very good game. And in hindsight, timed it just right.

On the other hand, I would say that Froome's arrogance also came back to bite him. In trying to show the world what an extraordinary rider he is, and how dominant his team is, he left an opening.

I'll bet it was a very quiet evening at the Sky dinner table.

Have you forgotten the us pro cycling challenge already? :p

Could this be a sign that the Dawg is starting to burn out? Kind of like Wiggo? Lets hope so.. I really cant take another Armstrong for the next 5 years.

Both are hyperbole. I would not say many weak days.

This year has certainly been less impressive. Mind you, the 120 rpm out of the saddle sprints from Monday are about as ridiculous as anything DB Dopador has done. :p

100% agree. Froome strikes me as immature. The recent mutterings in the press and Wiggins' manipulations stung him, and he decided to go too hard on stage 2 and he's been burning up his domestiques ever since. I remember the Vuelta 2012, the whole team rode terribly, even for Sky. This Dauphine reminds me of that. Sky lack a good road caption, well they have one in Eisel but he isn't part of the inner circle anymore (hope he leaves Sky soon).

Saxo rested their doms, Contador hitched a ride on the Sky train then attacked when Porte took up the pace. He knows what everyone knows: Porte is weak. It was great tactics: Sky were out-raced rather than over-powered.

You could go statistically I'm sure, but anecdotally he showed nothing until the 2011 Vuelta, then didn't do much until he came 4th in the Dauphine the next year. Then the Tour, no need to talk much about that, but then a crazy Vuelta 2012, plenty of weak days there. 2013 was a steamroller I'll concede, but there are plenty of bad days of racing to puck from Froome to pick from in the last 3 years.

Off topic I know, Jimmy how long has Eisel got left on his contract?
