4. Better Training methods
5. Inhalers
6. Tramadol
7. Deliver riders luggage to their rooms
8. Testing of cyclist who live at altitude
9. Refit of on bike position

And a very good swimming coach. Marginal gains.

Too late he dropped the saddle 3 millmeters after his back problem. So since reading the Climb he has dropped his saddle 3 times now!

Surprised he's not just sitting on the cross bar....

The exercises were not enough. Guillemette went to Monaco to visit Froome, analysed his bike position and made adjustments. He lowered his saddle by two to three millimetres and moved it forward slightly.

“He had an acute flare up, which is why I flew to Monaco. [Adjusting the bike position is] not the first thing to do, but you have to look at how they interact with the bike.

“We tweaked the saddle, initially by five millimetres, but he said that it just felt too low. We found a happy medium. We off-loaded the injured area.”

It was in response to your post that implied asthmatics have some form of advantage over those who don't have asthma.

I wasn't trying to imply asthmatics have an advantage over others but more a slightly sarcastic point that if its ok for certain conditions to be levelled out (if ventolin does do that) then why isn't it ok for other conditions to be treated in a similar way. I'm not advocating it though - its a bit like the 'everyones doing it' argument.

Wait what? It did show weakness in the 3rd week of the Tour last year. He just already had such a large margin that it didnt matter much that he couldnt keep up with Jrod and Nairo.

I'm no fan of Froome but this hyperbole. There have been many weak days in the last 3 years. Its not as if he won everything from 2011 Vuelta onwards. Surely it's more suspicious the massive peaks and their timing.

I would also disagree - but because I don't think Froome showed weakness. He was still a strong rider - just not the best on the day.

AC played a very good game. And in hindsight, timed it just right.

On the other hand, I would say that Froome's arrogance also came back to bite him. In trying to show the world what an extraordinary rider he is, and how dominant his team is, he left an opening.

I'll bet it was a very quiet evening at the Sky dinner table.

The recent mutterings in the press and Wiggins' manipulations stung him, and he decided to go too hard on stage 2 and he's been burning up his domestiques ever since. I remember the Vuelta 2012, the whole team rode terribly, even for Sky. This Dauphine reminds me of that. Sky lack a good road caption, well they have one in Eisel but he isn't part of the inner circle anymore (hope he leaves Sky soon).

Saxo rested their doms, Contador hitched a ride on the Sky train then attacked when Porte took up the pace. He knows what everyone knows: Porte is weak. It was great tactics: Sky were out-raced rather than over-powered.

You could go statistically I'm sure, but anecdotally he showed nothing until the 2011 Vuelta, then didn't do much until he came 4th in the Dauphine the next year. Then the Tour, no need to talk much about that, but then a crazy Vuelta 2012, plenty of weak days there. 2013 was a steamroller I'll concede, but there are plenty of bad days of racing to puck from Froome to pick from in the last 3 years.
