If you microdose in the evening you wont test positive in the morning, and given the altitude any reading to the
ABP are if I understand correct inconclusive and therefore not to be used to build a case...

I really do wonder if these altitude tests are just for show... So that both parties can pretend everything is fine...

http://www.researchgate.net/publication/270164010_Altitude_training_causes_haematological_fluctuations_with_relevance_for_the_Athlete_Biological_Passport

Conclusion

Three to four weeks of LHTH at an altitude of 2300 m or more in-duces haematological changes in Olympic-level elite athleteswhich, in some cases, exceed the individually generated referencerange in the ABP. Training at altitude should be considered a con-founding factor for ABP interpretation for up to four weeks afterhypobaric exposure but does not consistently cause abnormalvalues in the ABP.

Anyone else read "makes Tenerife such an opium training environment"?

Such a shame, that without the massive dope spelled out between the lines, I quite enjoyed the interview and the insight into the cycling regimen. I can't wait for the day until the get caught.

He's just playin the game... So are the others... It's just a different approach he undertakes...

I wouldn't personally find joy in him testing positive..

Mostly because I don't trust the anti-doping systems or those administering them..

Nor do I trust that him getting caught will serve as a detterant or make cycling cleaner as a whole..

It would just be another idiot to scream at/ridicule....

Serves no-one interested in changing the culture of pro-cycling...

I don't mean him per se, I meant SKY. Let's say we compare it to FiFA. After too many scandals perhaps people get fed up? After the CIRC people and fans are supposed to feel relieved but with the biggest team and knights get caught in a new scandal then, I don't know really, pigs start to fly or we continue to feast on them...

Fair enough...

But then again.. See where Festina/USP left us... Plenty of outcry and promises of change.. (it can only go forward from here rhetoric)

Every scandal leaves cycling in a vacuum.. Only waiting for a repeat when once in a while a too pumped up balloon busts...

Then comes a faux sigh of relief... But it is often misunderstood as a good thing as it is sold as "the system works" when it on the contrary should teach a lesson of more scrutiny needed...

Scandals serve the purpose of deflection from the underlying issues and gives room to ease up on the efforts...

I think the issue with Froome is that there is (with proper cycling fans :) ) the overbearing feeling that "you have taken this too far". I think we can all just about stomach guys like vino, ullrich, nibali and a few choice wee columbian and basque climbers...but the gangly one who used to be crap is just one step too far...its the bellboy giving out stock market tips in the elevator.....he needs caught...

Froome also has the most moronic fans on the planet which makes it even more annoying to deal with his arrogance and smugness.

I know.. I know....

Fans need to have some degree of a belivable show... Therefore the sudden and often late emergement of world-beater-talent is frowned upon..

One could argue that it is also a deflection and a huge illusion since the "real" (long-time) talents could be products of long time-doping which makes them no better at all...

Fans who follow cycling can either:

1. Embrace sudden and late emerging talent..

2. Discard it as taking the dope too far....

Neither is wrong actualluy.. But it comes down to what and who the fans like...

Most don't like elbowing/ marginal gains or disaster looks on a bike...

So Froome gets hammered a lot...

Al in my opinion.. And Fans are different of course...

talking about testing. we know it's a joke, the tests do not catch them and so on.

it's Uci-Wada problem, not Froome's or Nibali's. Froome said there were no test. now Sky and Astana were tested twice.
make the test work I say

or BAN ALTITUDE TRAINING.

how can fans complain about altitude training? it is ALLOWED.

how about banning Froome?

jawohl, ok for me. and while we are at it ban Aru, Nibali, Landa, Alberto, Quintana. etc etc
other riders will come and win races, we'll never run out of riders. Aso and Rcs need racers, whoever they are

I wish Quintana rode for Sky to see what people say when he disappears for months in his high altitude village in Colombia. never heard anyone wondering if the Uci testers climb up there.

but well, at the end we are repeating this day after day. so nevermind, why getting angry about the same issues? (and wait when we'll see the Dawg's race van unused by Richie... )
July is near, let's enjoy the race.
it's not like if we ban the top riders, the other just below are pure clean hard workers who deserve their chance.
it's the circus baby

sort of but not really...maybe when Quintana beats tony martin in a flat time trial whilst maintaining his climbing ability you would have a point...nobody is more ridiculous than Froome...

The reason why people hate Froome (or rather his style of racing) is because he (and his team) seems completely mechanical and invulnerable. As if he only slows down in order to maintain illusion of excitement. And as Superman, he has to play the role of Clark Kent occasionally to appear as a human. Only illness and crashes can affect his 3-levels-above-the-rest performances.

That's also why people some people tend to prefer Contador, Nibali and Quintana. They are viewed as real talents from a young age who have had real ups and downs, not as machines created in a lab.

He is clearly getting stronger, more juiced up and lighter day by day. I don't think he can hold himself back in Dauphiné. The first full *** attack could come before Pra-Loup. Maybe he will be testing his alien form as early as stage 1 or 2 as he did in the Tour.

I'm hoping for a all-in show. Seeing him destroying Nibali would send a clear message to the rest of the Tour hopefuls. Juice up or you are going to get destroyed.

Kennu has opened the ballet by doing a Vino. Now we're just waiting for Froome to show the oldskool dopers who is skipping the Nutella.

Oldfashioned methods vs. extraterrestrial gains.

Ah yes, the auld excuse of, it's not the micro dosing but the "I got all liquired up that's causing my new found form..." Marginal excuses
