But weak in ITT. Even Nibali beated him. :)
Nibbles had a private tailwind.

Roche cost how much? Ten seconds? Twenty?

I do hope for the Dawgue he will have one bad day in the Tour or he will be called Miguel soon.

The thing that is most infuriating is David Walsh's knee-pad wearing blowjob of Team Sky and the Miracle Man. He has a book he wrote about Armstrong as his Twitter avatar...that *** happened years ago, but he's still jerking off to it, while ignoring what is happening in front of his eyes...I guess the switch from "journalist" to "Team Sky Public Relations Specialist" pays better...

Walsh can claim it's trolling and his followers will back him, but notice he wouldn't dare take any legal action over a tweet such as this. It's the problem with social media really, Walsh has the loudest mic and can shut off other peoples mics when they join his discussion and he doesn't like it.

Anyone can block anyone on twitter though you can block Walsh if you want, the fact he has a loud mic is due to his fine record as a journalist, and who said anything about legal action. I thought you where smarter than this KB

You think peoples Twitter follower numbers are based on merit?

So in Del's world, Justin Beiber has a loud mic because of his fine record as a singer.

Who is Justin Beiber

He almost beat BMC on his own.

90% of the time Sky were shown on TV, Froome was at the front. If he didn't have to waste 7-8 secs waiting for Roche, it would have been an easy.

we're lucky Froome hasn't trained for time trials this year.

Why? He couldn't have gone any faster anyway as he would have just dropped his teammates. Would be interesting to know what percentage of the time he led there.

Didn't you see his team mates holding onto his saddle like it was a police motorcycle?

I'll pay a grand for a Sky radio mp3: "... easy Chris, easy... slow down, Chris, slow down, we're losing them... !"

Me and @faustocoppi are hoping he will turn into a descending God as well, so we can rest in pace.

I'm no fan of Froome but the hyperbole in this forum just makes you reply sometimes. He is none of those things and you know it, one good ascent of the Mur de Huy and and an ok ride over cobbles does not make him Merkx. And PEDs aren't going to help with descending now are they, so the last point is a little silly. I have no idea where Froome gets his ability from but tabloid posting isn't going to help us get to the bottom of it.

Come on Jimmy, you know that pointing out such hyperbole on here is not allowed. The Hitch will be along in a minute calling you a bully and telling you to not post here anymore.

Of course they do. Anyone who remembers the stories of Bjarne Riis going downhill like a madman in the buildup to the 96 Tour will know what.

But he has become James, he became a puncheur, he became a cobbled man, he became a TTT' man machine, there is no way to deny.

And yes, it is absurb, the only question is is it absurd to notion Froome became Bernard Hinault or is it absurd not to see?

He truly is a machine, even Armstrong would salute him.

@bernie's eyesore: dont be such a little baby, you take some you loose some, just dont cry over it like a little baby, you are much better than that, you showed in the past

Most of us are already at the bottom of it. If you need some help getting there, let us know.

lol.

Wasn't my intention to butthurt you when I mocked Jimmy's post. I never had that much against you, most of the time. But in for a penny, in for a pound.

It was a bit out of order though, he was trying to tell people what they should post about.

Doping? Maybe but surely the thing a cycling face would want to talk about are the crashes and the injuries and sheer balls theses riders displY doing that all the time. So many abandons, hope they are fighting right soon.
So why are you only posting in the clinic?

My apologies officer Netserk
Jimmy is free to talk about the race and we are free to talk about the doping. Don't know why it gets jimmy so riled up that we talk about the doping. Don't understand why, if he just wants to talk about the racing, he keeps coming back here.

But there is a lot I don't understand about Jimmy. For example, unlike me and you and pretty much everyone else in the world, jimmy is still trying to "get to the bottom" of whether the gc candidates at the Tour de France are using drugs.

It could be that bike he has that is 15% faster than everyone else's.

Did you expect anyone to read past that first statement? When you start with bullsh!t, it can only get thicker as you dive deeper.

If the farce that was the 2012/13 Tours never happened we'd have a debate here, but well, it's looking more and more like last year was just a diversion from our regularly scheduled programming...

The way some talk about him here you would think he already won the cobbles stage solo by a minute and crushed the record up Plateau de Beille.
He showed some form up the Mur after a sub-par TT and hasn't crumbled anywhere, and that's all for now. Sheesh. You would think he already had it in the bag by reading some of you guys. 2 minutes isn't all that much going into this last half.

Of course they do. People are hypocrites. It was all fun and game for many poster in the is very thread when Contador was the one breaking the all time VAM record and beating a fully primed Cancellara in the time trials. Now you will never hear the end of it as soon as Froome does something impressive. I mean, could you imagined the meltdown if Froome had done what Nibali did last year during the cobbled stage? Instant forum crash.

Could still totally see Astana bringing in their 'friend from Yonkers' on these rest days and crushing in the Alps like last year. The sound of the crickets in here would be hilarious. :D

Nah, obviously it would be incorrect to say the Astana thread gets posted in as much as the Froome/Sky threads but there were plenty of posts in an Astana thread during the Giro.

I know enough from what I've seen to know what's going to happen. Barring a crash, he's going to throttle everyone on every mountain that matters.
