I dont think so.I believe he can win the Tour but he cant podium Vuelta,thats why his appereance there is nonsense for me.

Contador won't be racing that much in the middle of the season, so maybe he will have a little more in the tank come Vuelta. Anyway I think we could be seeing a stronger (than 2012 and 2013) Contador this year. He is in his peak years, had good winter training and is motivated to claim the top step again. Whether that is enough to beat Froome remains to be seen, but hopefully he will put up a better fight this year.

With smart racing I believe he podium both, and I hope he also wins both.

Hmm interesting. I believe he can't win the Tour but can podium la Vuelta so a podium at both races it is.

Of course ideally he wins both but I'd be extremely happy with just a Vuelta win too, and twice podium would be good too.

of course not directly . I was just taking your comment of "podium" place as what contador is good for = andy. Well, since record says Andy has been only in podium all the time (not counting the one that he won on the court).

Contador will limit his loses in the TT's and crush in the mountains. He's got Roche and Kreuziger with him in the mountains- they'll shred whoever is there in the last mountains, and Contador will finish the job.

+1. Yep. So this is it for alberto. He said he wanted to win more in 2014, especially T-A since he doesn't have it on his palmares. But quintana is tough opponent for him. Froome or no Froome, this is still an exciting battle.
