That's a picture of a German, then? Yes? So let me get this straight - this is a picture of a German's legs, but it's supposedly being used as evidence of British doping?

Following that logic, I might as well post a picture of my legs as evidence that there's life on Mars.

I think you may have missed the point

I don't think for a second that even a teenager would make a joke about deliberately trying to lose. It seemed obvious to me that he thought that this was an acceptable tactic

Perhaps one should remember that diving in soccer is regarded as far more acceptable in Germany (think Klinsmann) than in the UK.

This could be compared to taking a dive. So you may well be right that he assumed the British public would see it as acceptable.

And, I think he's right. Judging by a lot of comments on UK newspapers, the majority of the British public seem to care more about flag-waving than what they're waving the flag for.

Unless its Micheal Owen getting a penalty for England of course. (What tournament was that, must be 10-12 years ago but I still recall it vividly)

I think it was against Argentina so England wont mind that :p ... and ashley young, Stevie G (hurts me to say it) likes diving as well.

Ah ok, IF she beat them, but if is always the start of a great debate.

So most THINK the Chinese are doping, and IF Pendleton had beaten them, I would think she was clean given her palmares and the fact she has been the top female sprinter for close to a decade with Olympic titles and World Championships to her name.

I dont know if she is clean.

However your counter will be she has been doping throughout that time, although the forum seems to have only been discussing GB since the Tour de France. You win there and an entire country's athletic programme is tainted it seems. Our cricketers are No. 1 in the world, doping. Sailors? Doping. That clay pigeon shooter who just won gold, where did he come from? Doping. At least we can be confident the footballers and rugby players are clean, because they are rubbish.

Again you enter the clinic dressed as a representative of your nation. Congrats. One born every day.

Anyway we are about to go round the merry-go-round again. Every so often I get drawn to but I am happy I have made a my point, although I have little doubt it will get drowned out soon enough.

No obligation to come in here. It appears what you read upsets you. Why keep coming back? Says more about you then the clinic regular posters who discuss all nationalities.

Where were you when Contador got weeks to think about his doping before his Clenbuterol positive was announced by a German Journalist and poor Chinese Fuyu Li got told the day of the result by UCI making the announcement via the internet and not to him personally?

Where were you when the USADA announced it's investigation of 7 time TdF Winner?

Where were you when Remi Di Gregorio was arrested by the police?

Where were you when last year Evan's victory in the TdF was discussed?

Where were you when Operation Puerto was being discussed?

Where were you when Ullrich's hounding by UCI was being discussed?

Where were you now when there are posters trying to incriminae LeMond in doping?

Oh i know where you are, you are in the British related threads crying foul play of those who dare question the empire and its citizens maybe cheating.

It has been seen all before. You remind me of Ryo. Go check his posts ;)

New WR for the British team and beating the team in 2nd by close to 4 seconds. Wonder what would be said if that trio were Chinese?

well, my eyes are not so good, but as far as I've seen it my TV said it was sth. like 1,7 sec to the team in second place, nothing like close to 4 seconds!? sorry if I got that wrong.

UCI confirm that Russian track cyclist Victoria Baranova has failed a drugs test, and has been sent home.

Thanks for that, Zam.
It explains a lot for me.;)

The proper term is bone-idle ****ers. Other nations are not willing to work as hard as the Brits. That is why they lose.

Don't be harsh on yourself.
You are from a country which never even tried to do it clean

Who knows, with many years of clean development, the US might reach their natural level of also rans.
