Hard to say. It has a few more uphill sections than would be ideal for him, but the same can be said for Taylor Phinney who probably goes in as favourite. A podium would be a really good result, but a win isn't out of the question.

Not quite sure of the exact gap to Van Overberghe.

Talansky is now through, he struggled badly on the first climb (11th) but made it up on the flatter sections.

Also the weather is changing quite a lot. It was a mix of sun and rain during the first group but now it seems predominantly dry sun/overcast. The flags at all points of the course don't seem to be indicating much wind.

I disagree. Personally I see the climbs being quite influential which is why I am going to give mick Rogers a good chance tommorow. he said he is in the best tt form since he won his world title and he will climb better than FC and martin. i think he will top 3 tommorow.

Quuade was only 15 seconds down but drifted into the barriers and fell coming off the descent, the final bend before the bridge.

Yes, I thought this course would be too hard for him. Maybe he is saving himself? Durbridge's time is looking better by the minute.

Phinney will fare better on the 2nd half of the laps.
