Everybody in my race this afternoon (including me) getting a DQF. I suppose it doesn't matter that much since I didn't place and win any money. I would of been filthy if I did though.

Sorry to here that. This may have nothing to do with anything but.... The ATM setup here in the NE. The ATM get it's operating voltage from an area business and the wireless hub in mounted inside the the same business. The owner of the machine and the business owner share in the service fees. The criminal part works something like this. When the ATM transmits to the wireless device inside the host store the information is either plainly intercepted with very little encryption or it's hijacked in an encrypted form and the slug who gets it is able to use it. I don't know if only using the machine at my bank branch has made me any safer but I am not yet a victim. Guy next door to me got screwed also. They left @700 bucks in his account until he got paid and then Whamo.emptied Good luck man sorry to hear

My attorney apparently never filed the paperwork. I paid him in full 3 years ago:mad:

"We have not yet received a legal opinion of title from your attorney pertaining to the above-referenced Title Insurance File Number, which has rendered us unable to issue a commitment to insure the title to your property. If you wish to proceed with your title insurance order, please contact us as soon as possible.
If you wish to cancel your order and to receive a refund of your deposit in the amount referenced above, please provide us with a mailing address where you would prefer to receive a check, or if you would like these funds to be transferred to your bank account, please send your wiring instructions.
If we have not received your response to this letter within the next 30 calendar days, we will begin the escheat process for these funds."

Funnily enough, I had my arm warmers on for the first time this morning on the ride to work (roughly 5am). After about 4km I didn't need them, but I don't want to get sick.

It is totally ridiculous that we should have a light frost this late in the year. I object on principle to having to wear a heavy jacket in May.

+1
The cold ears, the dry cracked skin on the back of the hands. Pleas stop, it's May, it's Giro-and-grill-time.

I understand, we get that same type of "Spring weather" here in the U.S. Midwest states.

It forces you to not plant any veggie gardens until almost June.....:D

Were you actually going to Italy to watch the race, or did you take two weeks (originally) to stay at home and watch the race?

The 2nd.

And guess what. I missed the prologue. Now waiting for the guy who uploaded 5 parts of the prologue to cyclingtorrents (including the useless pre-show where they talk about cooking and recipes) to upload the only part that's missing.

THE ACTUAL PROLOGUE

*grumbles some more*

OUr 16-year-old son was hit in the face by a football hooligan yesterday on his way to the Bundesliga game. The police know who did it and are expectd to take action this week.

The stadium doctor and the doctor at the hospital emergency room where I took him last night both said it may or may not be broken. Looks like we are off to a specialist tomorrow.
