The categorizations of a few climbs are once again absolutely hilarious, especially the "third category" climb in stage 11

Unfortunately the last 4 stages which imo would have needed a change stayed more or less untouched. Then again one can't really expect that organizers will just add or change climbs for no reason which hadn't already existed before the route was originally presented.

Official profiles of the Giro are already online.

I didn't notice major changes in comparision to the ones from the presentation.
Stage 6 finale has been changed quite significantly, and there are a few very minor tweaks here and there.
Is is harder or not tho?

And what else has changed? I couldn't really put my finger on anything despite probably looking through the 'old' route 5-7 times this winter.

the finale of stage 6 is longer, they do a 10 km deviation after the final GPM, adding some more rolling terrain. You can argue is "harder", but it's not much different, except that it will probably give more option for attacks in the breakaway that will likely fight for the win. If they get there as "Gruppo compatto", it won't make any difference.

There is a gentle climb to Lettomanoppello on stage 9, which wasn't originally planned, and on stage 11 the GPM of Sella di Raggio has been replaced by Passo del Carnaio (basically the same thing).

They only added a dozen of kilometres between the two bumps and the finale, i don't consider this a major change, it's only a little easier.
For major change i mean something like in last year stage to Arezzo where they took out the climb of Valico della Rassinata.

Tour of Croatia (2.1)
18.04. - 23.04.

Stage 1 Osijek > Koprivnica (220k)
Stage 2 Trogir > Biokovo (Sveti Jure) (123k)
Stage 3 Imotski > Zadar (237k)
Stage 4 Crikvenica > Umag (171k)
Stage 5 Poreč > Učka (Poklon) (141k)
Stage 6 Samobor > Zagreb (147k)

Two mountain top finishes this time: Sveti Jure and Pocklon. Sveti Jure is a beast of a mountain, HC without any doubt.

Edit: not sure how official the routes are which Miholjevic posts, but this could be the stage to Ucka

I remembered wrong then, I thought earlier this season he'd spoken about going to Croatia. My bad
You are correct, he only changed his plans recently.

For the next five editions the Eneco Tour will be known as the 'BinckBank Tour'. And no, I'm not making this up... I hate these races that change name according to the main sponsor. Especially such stupid names.

BinckBank Tour ? what a stupid name !
we shouldn't race for comercials
