Retire as the world champion TT? With an Olympic medal up for grabs next year? Same goes for Teutenberg, who should be Germany's leader in the road race.

Kristin Armstrong retired as the world TT champion in 2009 after just missing out on a medal in the RR too...

if Arndt really wants to continue I'm sure a German national team will appear at many an event just like a GB team appeared at lots of races in 2010 after Nicole Cooke didn't have a team. If it doesn't, Arndt will just tear them a new one for the 482649th time.

worth saying as well that the sky winter training camp actually goes on for about 6-8 weeks and the riders are free to pick which weeks they attend to fit it in around their other training (and of course join up with riders they will be in early squads with).

Some riders were there for a couple of weeks, some for as long as four-five weeks

Should've guessed what your weird phone code thing was without having to scan it

In other news, Andrew Talansky speaks out against Pat McQuaid: "Interesting find. If true, Patty boy is going to have a heck of a time explaining his way out of this one"

He links to this article about McQ corruption in regards to Tour of Beijing: http://velocastcc.squarespace.com/comment/2011/10/4/corruption-at-the-heart-of-the-uci.html

Haha is that his real account?! Pretty ballsy if it is!!!

Not sure if he still reads the forum, but did respond once or twice to threads, mainly in the clinic I think, or responses to threads about him.

Has only made 27 responses in over 2 years.

Twitter is actually a great way to get in touch with some of the people in/around the peleton, if you have something good to ask. It's no hassle to signup, ask your questions to twitter.com/vaughters and then just never use twitter again, ever.

He was always stating that. So, I was expecting it though he has a few solid months after the classics to prepare for the tracks. I would want to see him do the classics though.
