Crowd favorite G speaks. It would back to the track for G if he loses SDB as his supplier.

It shouldn't even need saying, but we all back Dave B 100%!!! I've known him a long time and I wouldn't want anyone else leading @teamsky

Translation: ''I really can't be arsed saying this but Dave has begged me to''.

G has a big plan for Il Giro...... just watched how he handled Quintana with ease in the Terminillo...... !!! ridiculous !!

Kind of surprised that Sky have not gone for a non English speaking GT winner, but maybe Landa, Henao and others dont fully comprehend Brailsford's 'methods' so this year Thomas has had to step up.

LRP put paid to that with premature speculation

LRP not going to win a GT imo. Not got the cajones for it.

But I not sure GT is GT material......but right 'prep' hey anything is possible in cycling.

That was a ridiculous display from our trackie Gee. I almost think his support of SDB is because he foresees an eventual vacuum when Froomie leaves the sinking ship (assuming said ship survives).

Agreed. Not saying Quintana is 100% clean, but he's the most robbed rider from the Sky era.

Even in Paris-Nice, Poels pulled out but the altitude native is about to win the darn race. All that Kenalog & Viagra crunched up in their morning smoothie.

Early season - maybe he's peaked too early, maybe others aren't yet up to speed. Someone has to win the race - just happens to be a Sky rider ...

Yes Spud, just a Sky rider who used to be a track rider. Remind what happened to the last Sky rider who was a track rider?

Paris Nice and Tirreno Adriatico are big markers at this stage of the season. GT riders are taking them seriously.

Yes some has to win, 99.9% of the time it is a doper.

Luck of the draw....really how desperate is one to post this. I suppose Kellys 7 in a row was luck of the draw.....

Not talking about Kelly and 7 in a row. Sky have had 2 previous track riders (Wiggins and Cav) - they both did differently. Not desperation - just pointing out a fact ...

Cavendish not a track rider, racing on the road aged 20. He was a road rider who rode track. Wiggins was an IP track rider who rode road.

just pointing out the facts.

Yeah I shared some Lapsang Souchong with him in Glasgow and he's really a lovely lad and definitely clean and even my granny who smokes a lot of crack said how lovely he is and handsome too and he smells lovely....

G is a great lad and definitely clean. If he was doped up then why couldn't he match Quintana yesterday or Sagan today? If G is doping then those two must be doping as well.

I like the last part of your logic.....
Sadly, it's probably true. We can't point the finger at one rider who performs otherwordly without pointing the finger at the others. Sagan's ride today was beautiful, but if he beat a doped up Thomas then we have to look at Sagan too.

Fair enough - they both did both. Fact.
