Absolutely spotting. Playing some Geeesus Christ Superstar, who in the what do you think you are... in the background. Just waiting for a punch. Oh was that a punch? I'm used to mixing it up with hockey players, not cyclists.

Seriously though - Bieber?

Geeesus Christ Superstar. I like that new nickname.

Justin Bieber? Seriously, how old is GT, like 30 or 31? He's a grown man listening to Justin Bieber, for his sake he had better be doping of some sorts, not necessarily PED's, but something if he's going to listen to what my teenage daughter listens to...
Plus - Hozier. The dude is married, he doesn't have to pretend to like crap like that in order to pull any more.

A review from last week's Bieber concert in Sydney:

While we're among friends, can we just raise this point? Middle aged adults - ok, let's be straight, middle aged women - at Bieber with their children? Fair enough: a shared pleasure at home maybe; a bloody good indulgent parent at the very least. Middle aged women here in packs, sans children-as-excuse, and screaming? Eeuw.

Maybe Geraint likes him a cougar or two. Look out Giro, The Cougar is coming.

G out acronyms his contemporaries, he only needs one initial

G > LRP; SDB

by deduction, G is better by a measure of 400%.

Video at http://www.bbc.com/sport/wales/39596573
Geezus speaks to BBC Wales Sport -
Welsh cyclist Geraint Thomas is leading Team Sky in the 2017 Giro d'Italia, which starts on 5 May.

BBC Wales Sport caught up with the double Olympic gold medallist at a team training camp in Tenerife. He talks about his ambition to cement his status as a team leader by winning the event.

He also talks about his moral obligations as a Team Sky cyclist following recent speculation surrounding Bradley Wiggins and therapeutic use exemptions (TUEs).

(Nothing exciting I'm afraid ... BBC Wales Sport are probably the last people not to ask hard questions)

A week or so ago there was a CN piece where Thomas said that his performances in the stage races during the spring were a wake up call. Wonder what he "started" doing differently.

The article was in procyclistese, but in plain English it was a pre-emptive explanation for his coming level up in the giro.

""As far as I'm concerned, in my own little world, I've never seen that."
Like Sergeant Hans Schultz, "I see nothing–NOTHING!" :D

Super win today. Now if he remembers to wash his hands everyday in the Giro and Sky don't drop the ball and forget to watch the other teams on some random stage, the Giro will have it's first British winner.

Sky just don't seem to get it right at the Giro, not sure what they are doing wrong with the preparation for the race but it's the GT when the wheels fall off.

Hard to win the Giro only riding by the powermeter and loaded on PEDs, it's too unpredictable.

Can't wait to see the G-Train smoking Quintana on Etna and Blockhaus. It'll be the cherry on top of the intelligence-insulting crap sundae that is Team Sky.

It will be an awesome sight, G and Landa will blow the entire field apart all in the name of clean cycling.

holy "G"
That gap bridging was a Froome-like style :D

I foresee a lot of activity here during Il Giro when G drops the ever loving soul of goat climbers like they were sprinters :D :D and yet claiming all the SKY allegations are rubbish & unfounded rumors :D

You mean like at the Tour last year, before he finally blew up? :D

Geezus has taken on the LRP role at Sky - sometime in a GT you knew he'll blow up, get sick or somehow lose 8 minutes on a stage. Landa seems to have the same probs so far at Sky - could blow up spectacularly at the Giro.

That's some motor, to catch and then attack again

All learnt by going round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round a track, then spending a few years in the gruppetto and riding the northern classics. Without that dedication and prep work, that move would never, ever happen.
