JRanton said:Are you including Appollonio? Do we know that he's riding or are we just assuming he is because he's Italian?
If Eisel doesn't go then it's a pretty inexperienced line-up.
hatcher said:I've been arguing against the automatic inclusion of Appollonio all year. With Cav there for the easy sprint stages, his inclusion along with Swift seems a bit redundant.
But he is Italian.
I'm also not convinced Sivtsov is still due to ride.
JRanton said:He'd better keep his nose out of the wind that's for sure.

Henao won't drop in the TTT, indeed. He'll catch hardly any wind. The guy behind him will have a hard time though.Ryo Hazuki said:if your such a wise guy shall we make a bet about henao not dropping in the ttt?100n euros. let's see if you can put your money where your mouth is
JRanton said:Yes, I agree with you on Appollonio.
On Sivtsov, it's certainly possible that he doesn't ride now that Uran has changed his plans but they'll still have Froome, Porte, Rogers, Nordhaug and Lovkvist as fresh options to support Wiggins at the Tour. There won't be much help at all for the two Colombians if Sivtsov doesn't ride.

hrotha said:This "bash a rider to get to his supporter" thing is getting old. Henao has never given any cycling fan any reason to believe he'll be dropped in the TTT (barring crashes, injuries, sickness and the like).
De Jongh said somewhere earlier in the season that Sivtsov is on the preliminary Tour squad.hatcher said:Sivtsov just seems to be going everywhere with the Tour squad. Seems pretty comfy in there.
Only 6 I'm definite about are the 3 track guys, Uran, Henao, and Cav. After that there are about 10 names I wouldn't be shocked to see, including Lofkvist, Sivtsov, Flecha, maybe even Hunt, Knees.

hatcher said:Also Sky will make sure he isn't dropped. They'll go as fast as their weakest TTTing GC* rider can manage. Whether he'll hold them back a bit is another matter.
*assuming the Henao plan is to ride GC.
JRanton said:No thanks. The odds are in favour of him not getting dropped but it wouldn't surprise me if he did. 70-30.
