There will be a mountain time trial from Mori to Polsa.

According to the article that wrote this news, the MTT will be the only stage in Trentino. That would rule out the Val Senales finish. And the article adds that this MTT will be in the "final days". I assume they mean the last week.
This would lead to redefine completely the 10 final stages![]()
I'll try to figure out something.
it should be it, yes, but it's still to understand:The Hitch said:Presumably the post rest day slot where they had Nvegal last year and Kronplatz the year after.

Wiggo is a cr@ppy descender. Not as cr@ppy as Basso, but close.airstream said:Wiggins is not Basso. He will catch Nibali on power straight pieces. Vincenzo needs either technically difficult downhill or cooked Wiggins.
And I want a 350kms long dolomitic stage.Netserk said:![]()
What a **** MTT!
I want Crostis up and down NOW!
2004 and 2002. Imho 2004 edges it.airstream said:wiggo needs one thing - to come...i'm a fan of diversity. the different giros are needed. i wonder what course was the softest for the last 15-20 years? probably, 2002?

- wtf they'll put on the second weekend, seeing they don't go to Trentino.
- starting the third week in Trentino it will be a long way to reach Galibier and come back.
- With this TT I begin to feel less confident about Vicenzathe Giro with 4 TTs?

Considering the last 3 years of TTing, having back 4 TTs would be quite a shockDescender said:2008 is the old days already?![]()

yes to both statements.Bavarianrider said:That would be a fantastic mountain for a TT.
However, a MT means that therew ill only be one real TT again, which would suck

The stage to Galibier becomes much longer and Bardonecchia is now the start of the next stage. I had to do this because I really don't think the Galibier will be stage 20 (it would be a monster transfer from there to Milan)
they could make a mountain stage in Piemonte and then have the final ITT in Milan. Last year they transfer'd from the Stelvio... pretty long transfer indeed. Technically they could have the Galibier stage on Saturday and do the huge transfer, but... the Giro ending (basically) in France?Peccio89 said:Do you think it's impossible to have the finish of the Giro in Torino, in order to have the Galibier stage on a Saturday ?
It's not really in Giro style to have a non GC related stage the last Saturday of the race. And starting from Bardonecchia going into Lombardy it's difficult to imagine a difficult stage. Maybe Mottarone but still with no Simoni around it's not enough for the last saturday of the Giro.
Yes it's possible that the article meant Trentino as the actual one, and not the whole region. I'll put again Val Senales in the provisional route until the mistery is solved.Peccio89 said:And i'm not so sure that there will be no Val senales, because that is not in Trentino but in Alto Adige, so two different tourism authority with which making agreements.
Well you have the whole friggin' Alpine arcroundabout said:Anything else in the vicinity, because I wouldn't really like it to be Sestriere again?
