Yes, I think that it was nothing seroius, but he had a mechanical or something like that because of the crash, so he had to wait and couldn't work for Thomas, at least according to the Italian commentators.del1962 said:Mayomaniac said:Is Kiryienka ok after the crash? He could also do really well.
Did he actually crash?
Around 2-2:30 I reckon. It's not as flat as the Vuelta one, he is in better shape, but so is his main rival and now his rival is the best TTer in the world, not Froome (who is still extremely good obviously), and the course is made for said rival.Dekker_Tifosi said:I think the talk of 3 minutes is overdoing it though. If Quintana is in this stellar shape it might be more in the direction of 1m30.

Sunny day, could be kinda hot.Brullnux said:Let's hope no rain. Rain has a habit of effectively neutralising these types of time trials like last year.

dimoulin 0
pinot, kruiswijk + 1'20''
nairo, nibali, mollema +1'40''
zakarin +2'
yet i'll be really surprised if the gaps between contenders, aside dimoulin, will be significant.
I'm not sure. Not only this is raced after a rest day, but there are no climbs with significant gradient at any point of the route.WheelofGear said:The "specialists" will get destroyed. I wouldn't be surprised to see 7 out of 10 GC contenders in top 10.
