Don't see dumoulin losing much. It is simply the most efficient to just TT up the climbs, and this becomes more pronounced in the era of powermeters as long as the chaser does not panic and just keeps pushing the w/kg target programmed to his computer.

Actually Dumoulin stopped riding with the power meter function on in races because he likes it more to ride on 'feeling'
