Most likely Bahrain secretly has got pretty good business relationships with Israel. They won't skip IMHO!

Iran ain't got no diplomatic relationship with Israel either. Yet, you know who has been the most important arms supplier of Ayatollah Khomeini? Yeah, Israel!MatParker117 said:nesocip said:How likely is it for Bahrain and UAE teams to skip the Giro on sponsor orders now that Israel is official, and what would be the repercussions for the teams but also for the race?
The UAE and Bahrain have no diplomatic relationship with Israel, that could mean no Aru or Nibali.
Money will come from Israel, which is pushing hard to grow its tourism sector. It would need an estimated £10 million (€12m) budget, with around €4 million going directly to the organiser for the hosting rights.

It's strange not more people flock to Israel. I hear the beaches are magnificent, especially in the Gaza strip, where people are swimming in raw sewage because of certain blockades.Robert5091 said:http://www.cyclingweekly.com/news/racing/giro-ditalia/giro-ditalia-route-192184

If there was a boycott from both Gulf teams, Vegni will pressure UCI to align an italian national team. This would be quiet an armada : Nibali, Aru, Visconti, Ulissi, Conti...
For other teams and riders, it depends on the level of geopolitical views put in the route, especially in occupied territories such as Eastern-Jerusalem.
