What did you expect, there was no strong leadout possible to string it out when everybody kills their team 2k out.A six-way sprint, on this finish?

Probably was.Brian Holm thinks Wout's performance today was better than into Siena...
He had to compete with zero other leadouts here, nobody was even trying to pass him.Brian Holm thinks Wout's performance today was better than into Siena...
Probably was.
I don't.It was not
How can you even say that and expect to be taken seriously?
Never realised Turner was that fast - pretty cool!
I didn't expect there to be a grand total of one leadout man left with 600 metres to go. That was an uncharacteristically awful job by most teams, all too scared of going too late so they all went too early. What did you expect, there was no strong leadout possible to string it out when everybody kills their team 2k out.
Has shown before that he's got a very good long sprint though, and is excellent at finding himself in the right position. One of the great leadout men, just missing a fast-man to finish it off.A six-way sprint, on this finish?
Ben Turner in third in this field is nuts.
Ok, I agree. It made no sense that they rode so fast at a time where you still had 2 kilometers to move up as long as you kept your teammates. On the other hand, if you‘re at the front as a team at 3k to go, there‘s no way that you can decide to go backwards and try again a kilometer later.I didn't expect there to be a grand total of one leadout man left with 600 metres to go. The issue was mostly the 5k straight road right before the decisive corner, not the fact that there was a corner.Reduced peloton after the crash, but after they removed the traffic island, the final corner was completely fine.
I think he might have been referring to the strength he showed, rather than the result. Wout does seem to be coming into his legs right now, which is nice to see.It was not

UAE Tour is in FebruaryDue to various circumstsances such as extremely technical finishes or wet conditions I can't get my head around the sprinters. Would like to see a finish where there is a non-technical last three kilometres

There was a crash involving a Polti rider inside 3k to go so I think they just haven't updated it to reflect the cancelling of time gaps yet. What happened? Why have Carapaz and Derek Gee moved up in the GC?
Is this a PCS mistake?
