Should really let this break go to 3/4 mins. I can understand if other teams want to chase it but they're not beating Pogacar for the stage

Yes I think so too, they were on the ropes a bit at the start but I'm not sure Arensman has the climbing form to attempt something that ambitious just yet. They missed a good opportunity to put Arensman in this break.
Tell Thomas what the finish looks like while he’s huffing and puffing up the mountain.
He’s obsessed with making Ineos chase their break ridersIn awe at the absurdity of Alaphilippe's ride today
What the hell has he been doing this past 70km
I agree. It's a saturday, a nice day, there will be 1000s of people on the final climb and watching at home who want to see a show. This is why the Giro badly wanted him racing here (and I would guess are paying big money to have him).Good, Pogacar want to win again. And why not? Napoli into rest day
Vaughters?Who is doing commentary about time gaps and tactics? Sounds insightful
Yeah but the best show if Pog attacks but is beaten by half a bike length by someone in the breakI agree. Vaughters?
It's already sealed. It's not like Prati di Tivo is where you get take another 3 minutes. The timing is right for big attack, he would practically seal the race and after he could ride more calmly, having Tour in mind. But I have doubts whether his team can control the break.
UAE is very strong in hilly terrain. Bkerg and Laengen are powerhorsesSo I couldn't watch.
How does this break only have 2 minutes when UAE have like 4 guys there?
So I couldn't watch.

Attacking each other a lot in the formative stages, Alaphilippe has been err, active to say the leastSo I couldn't watch.

They only had like 1-1.5 minutes atop Capistrello and there hasn't exactly been much climbing since. Add in bad cooperation and this is what happens. So I couldn't watch.

Vaughters says the break is playing possum and making the chase easySo I couldn't watch.
