You really are clueless. The Herald Sun Tour is a 2.1 race in Victoria with a very good field. Herald Sun Tour is the oldest stage race in Australia and is a very good race. It is important for the sponsors as Garmin is an evolving company in Victoria so that exposure here is very good. The race follows on well with the Tour of Beijing due to the closeness of the time zones between Beijing and Melbourne. Also, what is wrong with riders wanting to race in front of their home crowd? Seems perfectly normal to me. It is also quite convenient to finish their season in a race that is on home soil and is close to home. Your stupidity never fails to baffle me.
My "stupidity" never fails to upset you. Never knew Aussies were so soft and easy to rattle. Bait a post and he will come.
Stands to reason that if Garmin have squads at 3 races and it's the end of the season with a number of riders already calling it a day, someone is going to get short changed.
JV can't do JC's loaves and fishes act.
Folks here asked why Garmin have only 5 riders at Emilia and like it or not, the HST is the the reason.
How many other PT teams are riding in Victoria?
In any case, I'm happy to see them all there, since it should mean a few CQ points. They certainly wouldn't get many at Emilia, Piedmonte and Lombardy.
