Isn't Froome going to Beijing?

Anyway, if Purito wants to have a go here to test the legs for Lombardy than noone else has a shot

Rebellin in my book is as dodgy as a used car salesman, but his ban is over and he is allowed to race, he has to be considered a favourite to get the win. just as well OPL and Gilbert aren't riding so he doesn't win his 453235th race of the year.

This is the climb that saw Froome do his one memorable thing pre-Vuelta 2011:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9A0E_T_NiE

at about 1:40 he starts to drop from Gerrans, from 2:00 he has a near-Taaramäe.

This is literally the only thing I could remember Froome ever doing before La Covatilla this year.

well at least you did remember that,i didn't.
i've read that froome is doing beijing so emilia is safe this year.

incredible startlist.
i'll go with scarponi, cobo or rebellin for the win.
one of my favourite races, what a beauty

You are right. Froome will do Beijing and Lombardy. I confound that.

Hmm, though Dan Martin would win but will be hard since he is not riding then, anyone knows why he is not riding?

There are 3 Garmin riders confirmed so far, I assume Dan Martin will be among the other 5?

For Danny Boy, the Italian semi-classics would be a better chance for results and preparation for Lombardy than Beijing, so I would guess so.

Since Froome is going to Beijing, Uran is the obvious man to lead the men in black.

Gesink would have won this for the 3rd time in a row :(

Hope he can come back next year for a moral 3 in a row at least. Who's the Rabo guy for this? If TGBM is not there, I guess the Cruise Missile with Weening as Plan B.

As far as I know there's no live coverage (for Memorial Marco Pantani). Although Rai Sport 2 will provide an highlights package later on the day.

they honour the race of il pirata like they should, attacking!

GPM Montevecchio: 1) Vincenzo Nibali (Liquigas Doimo); 2) Davide Rebellin (Miche Guerciotti) a 16"; 3) Stefan Schumacher (Miche Guerciotti). Il gruppo a 35

miche terrible duo making a move

and then

nibali caught by a group of 13 including Basso, Visconti, Cobo, Rebellin, Schumacher and Sella

all the big stars are there.i hope they won't get caught and it will not end in a bunch sprint.track sprinters winning memorial pantani is kind of weird.

go cobo!
