Wow, just came back to find Pinot completely out, that's a shock ! Did he collapse right at the foot of the climb ?

Ha. Nice paper boying illustration.

When I got my first real road bike, I'd do it to on the 18% grade I lived on. This is back when it was normal for a regular-person bike to have a 42-28 low gear.

By the end of the Giro there won't have been many teams that have won stages with both Mitchelton and QS looking to maybe take 10 stages between them. Last stage will likely go to QS or Bora who are already on 2, Sky has 2 also.

Nieve will take the stage, Tom no energy to attack, sky no reason to attack, same with Astana. This is like a procession of soldiers returning from the Great War, ragged, sick and exhausted. I have seen a race this brutal before. The best man won it though, no doubt CF is the greatest 3 week stage rider in the past decade.

Lopez one of the most uninspiring podiums at a GT I can recall.
Certainly. But Uran's last year was even more uninspiring. I only saw him once the whole Tour. When he stood on the podium in Paris.

Let's hope that Carapaz can do something today. He does seem stronger than Lopez at the moment.

Is it just me or is Nieve looking much better on a bike than previously when his knees were always pointing in all directions?

Pinot done, great!
Dumo should be next, Great Giro!

Out of curiousity why is this great and why would it be great if dumoulin was next? Seems like quite a negative approach toward watching cycling?

Doesn't the user name say it all?

You didn't watch carefully then. Urán won a stage on a single speed bike ;)
